why Sheetal and not Lavanya?

This has been on my mind for a while now

If the Cv's wanted ASR to have an illegitimate child then why would it be with Sheetal? Why not Lavanya?

Yes if Lavanya had ASR's child it would have been a few months old not 7 or 8 years old but the child's age doesn't matter because it would have had the same impact on Arshis marriage or maybe Khushi would have found it easier to accept the child knowing Lavanya. However the viewers would have reacted differently because we all know Lavanya and that she had a live in relationship with Arnav and maybe IF members wouldn't have been putting up posts to end the track or say the Cv's are destroying Arnav's image/Character etc.

It's not like they can't get Sana Khan to comeback because she is currently doing a show for 4 lions called Arjun that comes on weekends, so couldn't they have made some adjustments and brought her back as Lavanya. This is why I don't believe Aarav is Arnavs son

And why is there no Promo? When Dadi entered the show, immediately there was a Promo that made it clear to us that Arnavs past will be revealed.

Also Mishti's Spoiler is not clear.

I see this. Aarav can't be Arnav's son. It's a love hate story between two people and not a love triangle. This track has been introduced to test their love. This time MU will be from Khushi's side but in the end, love will win. This is a temporary track because after Shyam fiasco got over, they had to come up with something. Just romance would have been too mundane to watch and to direct as well. So here it is, Sheetal track which is no typical Saa-Bahu track but this is going to add a pinch of twisted romance and intensity in lives of our ArHi. I trust their love more than they do.

I dont think they would bring La in, as her exit was VERY positive! It was clear she was not pregnant when she left and if she was, she would have told ASR! (even if she found out later)!!

They appeared to be in touch on the phone in April / May as well! (Discussing some issue to do with her career and an agent etc). Therefore there was NO way that she could have turned up with a kid at the end of the year! They parted on good terms and she was FULLY aware that Arnav had fallen for Khushi and she even tried to "Hint" at the same to Khushi!

The ASR-La relationship was intially quite superficial and it would have been going to parties and probably having a physical relationship as well! But with the advent of Khushi, La started to change and she wanted MORE! She wanted to be in a committed relationship. I dont think she just wanted to have sex with ASR for a few years and then move on!

Also, after her entry to RM, that stuff got difficult, and I have a feeling sex may have even stalled between them! Therefore LA for this storyline was NOT a logical choice! It had to be someone else!

There is nothing illogical about Lavanya having Arnav baby. You can't be sure they didn't have a physical relationship after she moved in to RM or after Arnav said he'll marry her and if she did get pregnant how you can tell if she would have told ASR. She probably wouldn't have because she knew Arnav loves Khushi and they are married after all she broke up with Arnav because she knew he loved Khushi.

So I think THAT would have made ASR look REALLY bad! He was STILL using La for sex, but hankering after Khushi and was clearly totally "Into" her! HE was gutted when he found out she was engaged, he tried to make her jelouse and make her admit she wanted him too! Finally after they united to help PAYASH he was shown worried about her when she left his house in a hurry! (after discovering Shyam)!! Lavanya SAW his changed behaviour! He even CALLED her KHUSHI by mistake!!!

SO to accept that while ALL this was happening he CONTINUED to have sex with Lavanya is just NOT acceptable! I think no one from the audience would accept that and ASR will look like a first class CAD! (Even I would call him one)! At the time of his engagement with La he was confused, he was trying to sort his feelings! He was NOT intimate with LA at the time!

However, this Sheetal was someone from YEARS ago, from collage, and he didnt know Khushi OR La then and was a young and single guy! So I think THAT is more palatable than La coming back with ASR's kid and opening a hornet's nest of how ASR was "Two timing" two women! (to some extent THAT is what it would be)! He was having a "Physical" affair with La, and an "Emmotional" affair with Khushi and he WANTED her physically too, but stopped himself from going there, coz he has SOME standards!! :)

I think even if La came back with a child instead of Sheetal, the track would still be getting the same negative feedback. Plus, the actress Sana Khan is working in the show Arjun as one of the main leads. Although the show comes only on weekends, they are one hr epi each on sat and sun... it must be almost equal to 4 episodes of a daily soap and I guess it won't be possible for the actress to do both. And I think, it would be difficult for the PH to get an infant child to play the part, so a slightly older child would be more convenient for them.
