@Person23:I just love your mother.

My brother once asked me the same question. When I answered that Anjali is the sister. He gave me the weirdest look.

After-marriage its her responsibility - she and her husband ought to fend for themselves.

My conundrum is with the aspects before marriage.
She is the older sibling.
They were both taken in by RM at some point, likely immediately. I cannot see them as the 'suffer-on-the-streets' type. In any case, this was never mentioned.

But regarding anything that Arnav earned, would not one say that she provided moral support in terms of being there for him through his trials and tribulations; listened to him when he vented about his Maa and sundry, cried on his shoulder and had him cry on hers, spent hours in 'pooja' and prayer for his betterment as millions of wives do...etc.?

In this sense, she was more of a 'wife'. All that was missing was the sex.

In a marriage or when a couple divorce, isn't half of everything usually considered the wife's property, regardless of her having worked or being a homemaker?
Is this alimony/property/assets/cash distribution only distinguished by the sex aspect of the relationship?

Incest.

I'm never the the one to jump to such a conclusion, but the way they are drawing parallels between Arhi's romantic relationship and Arnav-Anjali's sibling relationship is just sick.

Emotional support my ass. In my mind by that time Arnav had become ASR - hence didn't need any emotional support. Bas, i'm delusional like Anjali.

Swathi is busy with regular chores and caregiving. She probably will join all of us little later on.
That is why she is such an inspiration. She is a true gem. Never neglects anything that is dear to her, whether it be her real life or cyber life.
This online and all of us hopefully give her a place to vent and wash out the days frustrations. That is why, I want these threads to stay clean so, we all have that place to release our frustrations, and enjoy both our cyber and real lives.
Sorry for getting to sentimental in my response.
Edited : Ha !! I see Swathi is back in the mix now.

Aye, Aye Madam ... I wish there was a salute emoticon 😃 Yep our Swathi is a Gem... I like Diamonds so we shall call her that ⭐️

Can I wash dirty linen in public now?😃

Jayne,

Underlined above is what the CVs want us to think. But so far, Anjali has not done a single thing to indicate, she was the big sister for ASR. Never. It was always her way or the high way. Pouting and disappearing to Mandir to get her way. Emotionally blackmailing him. Even when she wanted to Kushi to come to RM, she pouted and went to Mandir.
I do not beleive, no matter how hard CVs try, Anjali is anything but selfish. She is not fragile but very cunning. She knows her tears are her ticket to Luxury. Sorry, but that is how I see her.
It was always mentioned that ASR took care of her since he was 14 and Anjali is too fragile.
So CVs having shoved that down our throats, I cannot see Anjali doing anything like you said in the underlined above.
She cannot even wait for her brother to come home for diiner. That is Anjali for you.
Sorry to be disagreeing with you.

Don't be.
I totally agree with you in regards to Anjuli's manipulative and conniving personality.
That's a character trait for her and it emerges in almost every occasion.
She is pampered and considered fragile because of the trauma in her past and babied to the point of nausea, but her peronality needs that.

My point was more of a philosophical bent...putting a sister like Anjuli and Arnav (without their terrible character traits) in a similar situation.
Supposing Anjuli+Shyaam are not living with Arnav, but Anjuli still writes checks to Shyaam.
Would it not be also her money? At least the part earned before her marriage?

Language is not the only way actors communicate with the audience
Their facial expressions and body language speak volumes as well (my opinion)

everyone pretty much thinks the same..it gets awkward at times..you know what i mean

why is it so hard for cvs to reduce some touching in their scenes.
