Just wrote an open letter to PH Star & Team - Because it is this whole tam all ofthem put together that bring this show to us...

Just what I felt after the developments of last couple of weeks... I believe everyone possible who could have been blamed has been blamed and bashed left right and center... Its all happening because we are so involved with this show... Everything seems up in the air; the director/writers changes every now and then, actors threat to leave and what not...
HOPEFULLY our love and adulation for this show will never end due to whatever is going on... We all have to be there for each other I suppose because at times there seems to be so much negativity that makes us feel so bad...
General trend in indian serials -
- Start with a BANG!!!
- Have a neat CONCEPT
- Take some time for CHARACTERS to build in the show
- Viewers fall in love with certain characters
- 100 episodes are over before anyone realizes
- REALLY good ones sustain the kind of popularity that IPKKND does. (It is a great achievement what IPKKND has done. Even though it is more young, low on High-strung saas bahu DRAMA type of show and does not cater to rural audience)
Then there is a point in a serial where - BEGINING of its OWN END starts OR Call it a MID-LIFE CRISIS -
- NOW where things start to fall apart; unless handled really carefully
- IF not all characters of the show are developed. It is but natural that actors will get discontented after a long wait and start leaving. This is a BIG flaw in IPKKND. There is so much potential with such talented actors but only the main leads are focused on. So much so characters hardly have any dialogues (Poor Akash & Payal the most affected by this)
- Main CONCEPT is fulfilled; What NEXT?? They start straying into un-necessary plots that eventually viewers get bored of. Right now IPKKND is in that position. Nafrat paas aane na de/Mohabbat door jaane na has has been overcome. Hero-Heroin love each other.
- So WHAT NEXT?? Expose didi's issues, helps payal aakash marital problems, get a love interest for NK. Problem with that is we only want to see ARSHI, coz ONLY their characters have been developed well. Everything else is just boring.
- Not challenging your main leads enough from an acting point of view. I would not bash an actor for getting bored of doing the same thing over and over 12hrs of 360 days of a year. If they dont see progression in their character or the plot of the show what are they going to do but make practical dcecisions.
- A strong plot is the backbone of a serial, the day that is gone - the begining of end starts.
ITS NEVER TOO LATE:
In the best interest of PH, Start Channel, IPKKND team hope everyone work towards making the show strong. They need to have such a strong spine/back-bone that changes do not affect the show so much.
Open request to ALL (PH, Start Channel, IPKKND team) - We love to watch you, have love it in the past yr and half and would love to for the next 10 yrs atleast :). So please take care of US...
EVERY GOOD THING ENDS (thats just the reality and we know) -
Hopefully IPKKND is not going in the MID-LIFE CRISIS direction where it becomes responsible for its own end. I really really hope that it has a natural ending whenever that is... I want to be in love with it as much as I do today; forever till it ends.
