Ok I'm a bit calmer this morning so came to do what I forgot to do yesterday. Thanks a lot for making a sensible post Priya. When I started watching IPK I didn't know who Barun Sobti was. But offcourse inevitably I absolutely loved this brilliant talented actor, and hey he isn't shabby looking either. That's how I got to know my drooling partners here in the forum (shout out to Tanu and Divs😛). Anyway, this is my one and only hindi show, I don't have any sources anywhere, I find out stuff by reading you lot. But from what I could tell being a Barun Sobti fan through his interviews, he seems like a down to earth person, a man of integrity, honesty and also quite smart if I may add. So all the best to him in whatever he chooses to do in Life. As long I can continue my drooling I am all good.😆

About this PH, all I can say that they are making me a violent person. As if Velvet dresses weren't enough... now I have more things to hate.

Honestly...I'm a selfish fan...Who fell in love with ASR...You can always question my phangurlism for Sobti but you never question my loyalty towards ASR..😆

In fact..I find it very funny when people say..I trust Sobti...I mean how much do I know him to trust him??😕But then..I also don't know him enough to call him names!!You can always criticize his decisions...but who are we to call him unprofessional??

And who are we to bash him left and right for a decision that he has still not taken??He might have been considering quitting...Can't he even consider things about his own career??!!

I never liked it when he took that 40-day leave..Biased phangurlism,you see!!😉And if he takes any such leave now..I'll be disappointed..But I never knew the extent of the offscreen shit happening lately!!You know how I love ASR..and Barun added such beautiful colours to this role...So to an extent..I gotta respect this man too!!

If he wants to leave..His choice..But before he leaves..The PH needs to clear the Mess they have made of the serial!!

Anyway...he's not leaving..He's a certified SP Dikra now!!🥱😆

Priya this is for you🤗 for this lovely thread.

I was having a very bad day since morning and then I saw Mishti's spoiler. I don't know whats the truth, I don't know about media politics, the PH, the SP but I can see the Man who entertained us & gave us ASR & his innocent & genuine smile in his inetrviews and I wonder how can anyone think to bash him?

Well... I don't know him personally but I am his fan since his first shot in Shradha. More of his acting, his expressive eyes than his overall looks. If he is actually leaving I'll still be his fan & love him though miss him very much but in any case he doesn't deserve this bashing. Some people here in the forum are just unbearable, they are not pleased with their lives it seems so they take out their khunus on poor Barun. I always ignore their posts but sometimes they really cross the limits😡

But I love your crooner & loved this thread. Keep up the good work girl...thanks for bringing the positivity to this mad mad mad forum👍🏼

Yes, we feel bad at the thought of Barun leaving. At the same time, actors have a short, unpredictable shelf-life. Their ultimate destination IS Bollywood. Barun is at the peak of his Tellywood career. So, this is his opportunity to be recognized and get some breaks in Bollywood. Can we blame him for being open to it ? Are we not open to new and better opportunities in our own lives ?

I think he has served the show beyond expectations. If he has given notice, then he did it the right way.

My heart is sore, yet I wish him well and hope to see him shine in Bollywood - if that's his dream. I am preparing myself for any eventuality.

Having said all that - Yes - I would love for this show to go on with SARUN and recapture the magic it had. I am loving the track now !!

I truly don't see IPK without both Barun and Sanaya in it. If we have to blame someone - let's blame PH and CV's. Barun and Sanaya singlehandedly carried the show for the past few months. Just wish the rest of the team did their part to bring the show to where it deserved to be. We can't blame anyone for looking out for greener pastures..
