I re-read my post and realised I wasn't very clear.
What I meant was, the circumstances themselves should have been different. The story should not have been at its present point while they were getting married.
Marriage, Suhag Raat and a honeymoon should have been the sole track.
Then there would have been a chance for a dream wedding, a beautiful suhag raat, a romantic honeymoon, all interspersed with flashbacks of how they met..
I think we, as loyal fans waiting for this time since a year, deserved this.
I just feel sad that their marriage track is running parallel to Shyam's track and the past/Dadi track. All their rasams were compromised with the whole miscarriage track.
When I'm watching a love story, I want the culmination of the relationship to be highlighted and given its due, not diluted with arrogant Grandmothers and lecherous villains.
Hopelessly romantic Expel just wanted a wedding with complete focus on Arnav-Khushi. And I'm sad we didn't get that.

Loopyji, absolutely agree with you, Khushi's characterisation should be changed to keep pace with Arnav's. I was literally gritting my teeth when she said that stuff about Dadi.
And I'm still unclear about Shyam's motives.
What exactly does he want?
Cheap thrills? Revenge? Money? Khushi? What?
One more thought, I have to say, I'm loving this thread and the people on it.
