The problem is, people think that Khushi is the ultimate tragedy queen. They think that she has the purest of heart and is completely free of fault. It was always Arnav's fault, wasn't it? From the very first day. People think, "awww, poor Khushi, look how much she is having to face..." I beg to differ. First of all, many of the things that went wrong in Khushi's life were because of her. Zindagi me you shouldn't be so sacrificial that your kindness ends up seeming like stupidity. Starting from the time she married Arnav. Yes, I agree, he threatened to stop Payal's wedding if she did not marry him. Par Khushi ki akkal kya ghaas chadne gayyi thi? No one is a child in the family. And if Aakash truly loved Payal he would have went along with the marriage despite his brother's refusal. There was absolutely no need for her to sacrifice. And then with the Shyam fiasco. Again, I repeat. No one is a child. They have as much right to know the truth about their family members as Khushi does. She walked right into a mess with her eyes open. So she's not the ideal person either.
And seriously. Think about Arnav for a second. Poor Khushi. Yes, she's faced a lot of embarrassment, yes, she's upset about her marriage not happening. But Arnav. Hello! He just realized that the aunt of the girl whom he was about to marry was partially responsible for his being orphaned!!!! And what, he's just supposed to say, "so what? It's my marriage today and Khushi is waiting for me at the mandap!" really...? So lame! He's completely broken. He will never be able to look at Garima the same way again. All the memories that he has buried inside of him have come alive once more. And all people care about is, "aww, Khushi's marriage will be broken again..."
Can't believe this.
