When I look at these photos the first words that come to mind are "sins of the parents." You caught my attention and compelled a response out of me today! So your post is effective.

Both Arnav and Khushi are in pain because of the sins of their parents!
  • Arnav's dad is guilty of adultery
  • Arnav's mother is guilty of committing suicide .. this is a sin in most religions
  • Garima is guilty of converting another woman's husband .. Substitute the word man/woman for better accuracy from the 10 Commandments
  • Lies ... All are guilty even by omission
As a Christian I can only quote the Bible but I do know that every religion has its own Commandments and they are all more or less the code of conduct on which society is built. In other words social norms!

However, what most people forget is that the social norms are just guidelines to follow and God in any language or religion, tells us that notwithstanding all these rules/norms the most important thing in life is love. A pure love for all mankind that brings with it forgiveness, understanding and compassion.

I am not a religious person but I cannot help but compare how society selectively uses the norms to pass judgment on "sinners" and yet forget the most important message of the various religious teachings/books. Why would the innocent have to pay for the guilty? Let's say the "parents" committed their respective "sins" what has Arnav and Khushi done to deserve this pain and suffering? How can we as a society take pleasure in innocent children's pain?

If this Forum is to serve any purpose other than OMG gushing and meaning less entertainment then we all have to look internally and stop before we write character assignation and judge so harshly.
There are better ways to get your POV across without wanting to turn anyone into a doormat and write off as unredeemable!

Arnav will come for his Khushi! He will not ever stop loving her but right now he needs someone with strong faith and patience to help him find forgiveness in his heart and to accept that time heals all pain if you just let it. Everyone has to be judged on who they are today because none of us can fix the past. He has to accept this to find true happiness..

Khushi loves Arnav unconditionally but has never placed him first in her life. Tradition, family obligation etc aways got in the way. If she truly understands this love starved, bitter man, and is true to her traditions and values then she must choose him now despite her loyalty to Garima. That should not be difficult because those same traditions means after marriage her priorities are now her husband, and his family.

With time and unconditional love they will both develop the trust and compassion required to forgive and forget the past! Those tears of pain today will turn to tears of happiness once they both accept that! It will take time regardless of tomorrows outcome. We just have to remember that unlike real life where we lesser humans may never learn this lesson, in reel life that can occur in reel time = TRPs!

I have nothing else to say on this subject on any other posts and chose your post to make my comments because you are consistent in your opinions and the share impact of these photos got to me.

Cheers

Maya di,

Firstly I am honored that my thread clicked you and prompted you to respond.

I am a true believer of GOD, though all religious tantrums are just worldly filth for me. As you said innocence is trapped and is paying a cost of somebody's else sins. When you look at societal norms, it is full of dirt. As for me neither of the two are at fault. The judgement is passed through some elders but will they accept, that's the question yet to be answered.

Khushi and her trust on the man of her love is beyond imagination and undeniable. it's pure and divine. Love is divine and divine is love. She is full faith and that's why Arnav coms back to her.

As you said Arnav cannot stop loving her be it what comes and what may go. But the truth hit him hard and he needs time to heal. One has to understand the woman who dies is his mother and the woman in question is his mother-in-law. Both ways he has gone. Yes, forgiveness is the only way for his happiness but he has to make his heart stronger enough for that. To forgive someone is not easy.

Human beings, their relations of heart cannot be ignored but even their parting is not in their hands. My question to all people who are making Khushi or Arnav victim of circumstances - Will they part with heart even if they part physically???? Will they able to move on in their life???? Answer is NO, then why to affect the present because of the past even if it is connected with a heart wrenching truth. Why to blame any one of them???? The truth was hard to gulp and I am happy that their loves doesn't fade.

If one has chosen the path of their love, they have to face all the humps and bumps life is offering. Need is to support each other, trust each other and understand one another in all thick and thin to create a path which will lead to their eternal happiness.

Forget about the OMG's of forum, I am a sensible married woman who don't jump to conclusions. At the mid age of my life I sometimes laugh on their OMG's and their immaturity. But then I recall there was a time when I was like them. It's just a phase of life and they are enjoying. 😊

Love you
Rashmi
