I think he had brown hair and brown contacts at the beginning of the show, which he no longer uses.

No, if you look closely even at the promo for 'Nafrat paas aane na de..' you will see he has contacts, reddish-brown ones. I remember how attractive his eyes used to look - red with anger.

Ofcourse, he has very nice eyes, but the color nowadays is different.
