Firstly...wow!!!! what a beautiful scene,
n no im not a pervert, what I mean, is that Arshad what beautiful direction, making the scene so beautiful, keeping it innocent, beautiful, and sweet...there was no vulgarity as can be sometimes...it was plain n simple love...beautiful!!! great direction and as always SPECTACULAR ACTING BY OUR BEAUTIFUL COUPLE!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Oki so after Fridays' episode I don't know about you all but I am confused as to whether they did have intercourse or if it was just a very intense make-out session.
I like to believe they did not, my reasons for believing so are below:
-Firstly, there was no hand lock scene, as in the clich hand hold/squeeze which we see in pretty much every suhaag raat scene that is filmed in Indian dramas and films, you know where the hero hands are interlocked symbolising that they have made love.
-Secondly, because Khushi wakes up alone in her own bed. If they had slept together then would they not have been still at the farmhouse and would have woken up in the morning, with both of them feeling shy and awkward, or at least discussing in hushed tones what about what took place, this did not happen.
-Thirdly, the first thing Khushi does after she wakes up is that she prays to DM, happily not shyly or embarrassed or ashamed at having slept with Arnav before marriage. If she had slept with him, she would have felt uneasy in front of the goddess, as it goes against her teaching to have sex before marriage, and so DM being khushi's friend, mother, confidant and of course god then would she not feel ashamed in front of her, feeling as that she may have disappointed her.
-Fourthly, it would go against Khushi's character to sleep with him before marriage when she initially made such a huge deal about it, you can argue that they both reckon themselves to be married and one in soul, especially after Arnav takes her to his mom's garden, n while that is true that they are one and their souls indeed are united they still are not married religiously or legally, which was Khushi's initial problem, she never said that she did not consider him as her husband, for she always did, hence the ' hum bhi apse I love you dammit' telling him that she too considers him as her husband just the way he considers her as his wife because they love each other from the heart and soul, and that is why she continues to wear the MS and sindoor even though the contract is over and they are no longer husband and wife legally or religiously, but due to love they are. (Why I say the 'I love you dammit' shows that they consider each other as husband and wife, because that is Arnav's reply to her when she asks on what basis do you consider me your wife, when we are not married legally or religiously, he says on the basis of Love, the fact that he loves her, in his eyes Love is what makes one your partner for life, and so that is why he considers her as his wife, and that is why when she tells him the next day in the same tone that she too 'loves him dammit' shows how she too believes and see's him as her husband because she too loves him, but because religion is also important to her she needs him to be her husband not just in terms of love but in terms of religion too.) So it was never about that, it was about not being married correctly in society's and religion's eye which stopped Khushi from letting him love her physically. And so that is why I believe that she would not have let him, also because just a few moments before when Arnav was coming close she shut her eyes scared not wanting him too, as she knew they still weren't married. So it won't make sense that a few moments later she just lets him take her, when it goes against her very beliefs.
-Fifthly, it goes against Arnav's character too, to do it when he knows that she is not ready, or not that she is not ready but that she is not comfortable to do it before marriage. And especially the fact that he stops himself just moments before realising that he would wrong her if he continues. Arnav says then and has said before that he would never force her or do something that is against her morals, and having sex before marriage is against her morals, so why would he.
-Lastly, and the most important thing in my opinion she says she trusts him to control himself, he would never betray that trust, and so I believe while they did make love, they did not have intercourse. Yes they can be two different things...making love to someone physically does not mean you have to have sex with them, although that too comes under the same banner of making love, but making love to someone physically can just be caressing them, making out with them, basically telling them with the way they touch, feel, kiss and caress one's body that they love them, and so that does not mean they have to go all the way. Making love to someone can mean giving them one kiss, one hug or going the whole way...it can be either one of these things, it does not ahve to be all of them although can be.
Oh also why I don't think they would have because, I am a traditionalist at heart and so don't think it would be right for them to have had sex before marriage, but not just because of my beliefs, it is like I said in my opinion it would go against both Arnav and Khushi's character, to not be able to wait, and that too just one day...
So then why did it happen if they didn't go all the way, well what I think may happen is that, Dadi may make an issue about how they spent a night in the farmhouse before the marriage making it seem like something happened when it did not, and he did take off the kangan so it may be still at the farmhouse, so yeah...
Also if a separation track comes, and if it is Arnav that pushes Khushi away then Khushi may be hurt when remembering this night thinking how she let her guard down and let him come very close to her and he turned around and pushed her away. So even though they didn't have sex she would still feel that he took her virginity, because she was touched and caressed by him that he came so close, made her his own and then left her. Thereby making her feel betrayed by him.
And if it is the other way round, where Khushi leaves him (which I think may happen, because there have been many hints where he keeps on making her promise to him to never leave him, he has become very vulnerable and has openly stated his need for her, and so I think that if a separation happens then it may be Khushi who leaves rather than him kicking her out, causing him to completely break). And so, if it is this way round, well I haven't exactly managed to figure out how he would view this night, but yeah he will probably feel betrayal too, that she promised him herself this night and then left...so yeah...
And of course we all may be making a mountain out an anthill,where the sequence could just plain n simple have been Khushi's dream, for we only khushi wakes up after it, as in she could have left the farmhouse after she tells Arnav she will not do whatever he asked, n then dreams to have danced for him and then made love (again i don't mean sex here when i say made love)
Anyway this is why I believe that they did not have sex, but these are just my musings by all means disagree and tell me why you think they may have I am all ears. Eagerly waiting to hear your views, what you think about their night at the farmhouse and what you think it may lead too.
