Wonderful post Rishi! If they creators of this show had a clue about what the audience wants to see, they wouldn't be stuck at such pathetic ratings for the past few months.

They had better ratings when the story was stagnant, because the viewers thought they would be rewarded with a proper redemption track at the end of it...Gul and co. promised it. We never got it and now, nobody trusts them...everyone has given up.

Only the die-hard fans are still watching, which is why despite all the romance last week, the ratings are still pathetic.

A woman gets married into a house, which is the same place where the abuser is residing. Honestly, I don't want this girl to face any more torture.

And the "TRP" audience, though I'm not one of them, but my MIL and my mother, belong to the category of middle class housewives, and I'v slowly seen them transitioning from IPKKND to BV and now to Mahadev. They belong to the same category of audience who once changed from BV to IPKKND when it had a wonderful, positive track, with all the plans of Shyam failing. Even in the initial part of the MU track they watched it zealously, but somehow the interest got diluted due to dragging of the track for almost 7 months. They don't have much loyalty towards any show. They will watch that show, which will give them what they want. They face so much negativity in real life that they don't want it to be reflected in the serial.

And mark my words, in a country like India it is very difficult to fight against a mythological serial like Mahadev. And the channel has already committed the blunder of promoting this serial in the 8PM slot that too in the commercial breaks of IPKKND. If you have noticed the TRP's of IPKKND fell further after the Mahaepisode of Mahadev was telecast on 9th september. It took away a chunk of viewers, atleast my MIL and Mother are now addicted to this serial.

Similar is the case with Khushi... It irks me to see her without any self respect or dignity... I bet if Arnav cancels the wedding on the Dday and leave her at the altar she won't feel bad for herself but for her Arnavji which is quite pathetic... To tell u the truth I completely agree with dadi that his mother was a week woman I mean who commits suicide on their daughter's wedding day no matter whatever revaluation is made... If Arnav leaves her at the altar then I want the cvs to show Khushi as a girl who has had enough and will go away either back to lucknow and leave Arna for good and let arnav do massive grovelling this time, if he has to beg for her forgiveness this time then so be it... I don't Khushi to fall for his sob stories anymore... Of he is an orphan than Khushi is an orphan as well but she hasn't made it an excuse to be an ass all the time... It wasn't Garima's fault that his dad was a cheating scum like Shyam.
