Today, the confrontation revealed that Arnav's dad was in the wrong and actually mislead Garima and his own family like Shyam!! I don't know..I had hoped they made the past more intricate! In oter words, may be Arnav's dad was not to blame and story was something else entirely!!

Mainly because, I just cannt accept the fact that A daughter of a strong woman like Naani would kill herself!! And more unlikely, a cheating husband would kill himself after his wife died!!

Ok! Also want to put ts disclaimer..this is not meant to be bashing! Just my musings! I love the show..and I agree things are picking up..and the story is moving in the right direction!

Guess he was a milder version of shyam who had something called guilt..that's y he killed himself..N blaming was evident weneva dadi took his name in front of arnav..N arnav's mom is more like Anjali than nani..

May be..but really, I would love if they make the story more complex!! This just doesn't sit right with me!!

i think arnav parents death might be related to arnav uncle who grabbed all the property and threw arnav and anjali out of sheesh mahal

First of all, are we sure the guy who hadpoed sheesh mahal was infact Daadi's son?? Because Daadi doesn't mention him..and in fact calls Arnav's dad her beta!! I think that guy was probably a cousin!! I think he just took advantage f the situation! I think there is(want some) mystery surrounding Arnav's dad's interaction with Garima!!
