Many people were taking an ominous meaning out of it, my in opinion it meant that he wont ever let her go. He cannot bear the pain of loosing her. He wont ever let go of her hand. He wont ever risk her going away from him.

cant trust the CVs...Arnav searching his ring, Khushi's mehndi is pheeka...and this dialogue...sigh...and this swine is now behind Garima...he just intrudes the Gupta house like he owns...why is that no one is insulting him?

You cannot rule out disaster and gloominess from this show. They thrived on this in the past and that is the only way they can put layers to the show. This is sad and true. I am pretty optimistic that Garima will not be allowed to defend herself. This is a signature move of the CVs. Create an issue and set it aside, allow it to brim and simmer which will be brought out later.
