Sadly yeah. Happy moments seem far off. You are right. I don't want Rimu's thread to have a problem. i will remove the comment. Let's remove this one as well.

I actually want to make a post on this FORUM RULES stuff -- but let us not do it on this post -- Rima did a great thing here. We just keep its Sanctity I guess! But I do want to discuss this "reported" stuff later -- things that make my ANGRY -- other people telling me what I can and cannot say!

Like I said, everytime I take a break, I explore something. Last time it was some shows on the American TV. This time it has been the Indian stuff. I have kind of started rounding off all the shows on all the channels I get. I see every single one of them being the same -- these nicely dressed women and their saas who is screaming at them!

This show was so damn different but with the advent of Dadi, it is almost the same as all of them.

So, I dont think any strategic genius is behind this stuff. It is a serious possibility that they genuinely ran out of ideas to prolong the show -- they didnt like the ones on the Forum and their group -- so they picked a track. I dont see them changing it. We had fun doing the petition for our satisfaction!

when I meant innovative stratergies, they have not made an inch's difference in the type of shows they air but they have their own brand of medium in promoting, catogorize and selling their products to the masses.

After all, they must be doing something right to be in the top of all indian TV channels right? They seem to have a remarkable grasp in catering to the viewers expectations, in other words what viewers want to see, something IPK had been failing to do for quite some time now.

For example, lamp and wick story, even though silly in it's content, has been able to make a huge impact in the set of audience it's targeted to. All the top guns of the channel are making good revenue and it's consistent too.

About over sea ventures, I was meaning it in a way they want to explore the audience outside India..kind of like some of these B-world movies that are made exclusively targeted to expatriates/ over sea market. IPK might be under that slot, as a means to make SP known to people outside of India.
