Having said that I actually blame the cv's. Only one marraige scene was shot with Anji as far as I can remember which can easily be reshot with a new actress.
In Kyunki ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi, an ekta serial which aired 10 years back, the lead actor was killed off. The channel got so much hate mail that ekta had to bring him back. When they decided to go for a generation leap the lead actor refused and he was dropped like a hot potato and replaced with another one. And you know what the fans who demanded him back when they killed him off did not even bother when he was replaced by Ronit Roy.
All I'm saying is fan's memory is very short. If the actor is good they will all but forget about the actor because they are more in love with the show than the actor itself. I mean to say Daljeet is easily replaceable. I don't know why the cv's gave in to her demands. It's totally their fault not hers. She's shrewd and cashed in an opportunity esp with barun's leave.
Everyone is mocking that it's kekta serial and all that but at times like this I wish this show was ekta's. She's such a hard task master she would have told Daljeet to get lost and brought in a new actor and people would have forgotten about it and this would still be about Arshi.
Just my two cents.
