Road blocks on the way to Jnana,
Son of sage Parasara, son of Lord Vishnu,
Lord who has been worshipped from ancient times,
And the worshipful Lord who rides on a mouse.

My understanding is that Guha here can be the demon Guhasura, who was the destroyer and both Shiva & Vishnu had to take a form to destroy him.

But then Guha is the name of Lord Kartikey too. And Lord Ganesha, Vinayaka, is the master & destroyer of obstacles.
