SARUN - Something Missing Today!!?? (27/8/12)

Yes today's episode was nice. For me the highlight of the episode was when Arnav sees Khushi enter just behind him. The scene was shot beautifully. He just cant take his eyes off Khushi and keeps looking at her till the Manager / waiter greets them. Barun's expressions were just awesome. It makes you fall in love with him. He does it so well. Just imagine the scene had no dialogues. Its just his expressions and his eyes and they said it all. Infact i dont think any TV / movie actor would be able to portray this scene so well like Barun did. I have been just replaying that scene so many time to look at his expressions.

Barun and Sanaya performed well but i felt like something was missing. These are my views on today's episode.
1. Barun was just amazing in all scenes right from the beginning. Even small scenes like where he tells Anjali that he would drop her or where he calls the driver and asks him to drop Anjali and Dadi. Did anybody notice the way he tells Anjali bye while talking over the phone...While it was sooo real, it was also so ASR stylish :)

2. Like always Sanaya was great in the comedy and emotional scenes and she loooked gorgeous in black. I feel she can carry any outfit and look elegant in anything and everything.

3. We all know and love the beautiful chemistry between Sarun and today's was nice but not great as it could have been. I felt their chemistry or potential was under utilised. There were so many instances which i think could have turned into AWWW moments...

- I feel the their date was a lil rushed...like to have the date completed in the episode time frame. I dont mean they should have dragged it. But yes they could have done a lil more justice knowing it was their first date.

- The moment when Arnav tells khushi that she need not change for him and that he loves her for the way she is. that was a special moment and i think that should have been given more time. that moment should have been a lil more romantic which could have given us more goosebumps. rather it looked more casually said like as if arnav very often keeps telling khushi that he loves. Well technically this is the 3rd time he is telling her he loves her (over the phone when he was kidnapped, then the i love you dammit and then today). the i love you dammit was nicely shot but still he said it in his angry personality manner. to be honest he has never said I love you in a romantic way.

- Its also possible that our expectations (from the show and CVs) have gone up thanx to the lovely romantic episodes shown last week. So that just makes our Dil Maange more :)

- Honestly i feel, while we all do like the show, our main reason for watching it is the chemistry between Sarun and the love story between Arshi. So CVs should have more romantic scenes between the two of them. They need not be filmy and grand, just subtle and simple things can make it so romantic...like the old episodes. There wasnt anything grand about it but all of Sarun's scenes like during payash's mehendi, arnav trying to see whether khushi's worn the bangles that he gave her...that hardly had any dialogues but the look he gave...he was trying to sneak and see whether she had worn them...these are things we all relate to and thus find it so cute and romantic. I recollect in one of Barun's interviews he said that the show is strong because of the script and the CVs. He said it is very difficult to expect CVs to write something good in every episode. Which is so true. They obviously work so hard and trust me CVs we all do appreciate it... but i only hope they try to bring back alil bit of the old magic.

I just hope that the next functions (Godhbharai and Mehendi) will atleast last for 2 episodes. Say tomorrow the godhbharai and day after the mehendi. This would do justice to both, Sarun and Anjali's characters.

I know there is lots we can hope and wish for. But then i try reminding myself that what we wish for tomorrow or day after has already been shot for. I just hope CVs read all these posts on the forum and realise how much we are involved in this beautiful love story that they have created.

even i thought the same...everything is fine but something is missing🤔 they could have shown more like khushi drank,she might behave like drunker,arnav dropping her home and so on...even i m getting ideas but happened to cv's????????😭

i agree sis. i really think ipkknd has lost its charm. tht sensation. even the title...Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...Nafrat Paas Aane Na De, Mohabbat Door Jaane Na De...SRSLY...i really think something shud happen so tht the show can live up to the title...Gr8 post btw ;)

this was a cute date n i loved i9t but it wass a bit rushed

Before Sanaya and Barun were not very close , so the romantic scenes were coming very realistic. Thye were doing it seriously but nowadays since they are very close, they both will get laugh for romantic scenes and could don the scene up to the mark.
