A few days ago, there was so much talk about Arnavs redemption and this and that. Well that got me thinking. I wish the CV's hadnt made Shyam a worse man then he was even before instead had thought of a way to find redemption for him. That would have been the perfect way to give the characters of Shyam and Anjali screen space without spoiling the story even more bc honestly right now everytime i see Shyam babu or his wife I just want to throwup. The story could have been much more interesting if Shyam began to see and respect his wife's faith in him.

I mean, I get a man who would go to any lengths to get a girl, I get a cheater, I get a man who would try to kill a man to hide the truth (khushis dad), I get a greedy many who would kill his brother in law for money. BUT I dont get a man who would KILL or attempt to kill his unborn child?? and for what exactly? isnt having anjali and the child giving him more leverage? Like what is up with the pills he gave anjali? Is that even possible, that a person not even have a tiny bit love affection for his own child and the women who treats him life god?

Dont you think shyam's characterization as a villian has just been going a little too far? Are any of us actually enjoying his evil antics? Would the show have had more purpose if sometime back, they had shown Shyam having a little more humanity.

And finally, something the CV's dont seem to understand...you can always bring a new big bad villain. But showing the SAME guy always winning and always bad gets boring. at this point we are all bored of Shyam. It would have been so much better for the show if they would have started to slowly bring Shyam to redemption, that may have been a story we would have enjoyed. It would have given him and Daljit better screenspace.

But at this point its too late...Shyams actions have left him with no way of going back. eventually he will have to die a villain or just go away losing.

I totally agree with your post. It is very predictable and boring to watch evil plans...I get that Shyaam is a guy who is angry because he was outsmarted by Khushi. He wants to spoil everything for her and gain back his money machine. But using the only leverage he has for entry seems dumb. Where is the guy who fought with goons to save an innocent girl and her family on the street , he didn't even know Khushi then...if he was inherently so evil and conniving why would he do that. I just don't get it.
