Looking at Khushi today, it felt so sad.
The first time she got married she had no one.
This time she won't have her parents…the only parents she has known from the death of her own parents.
For any girl to get married without her parents is a nightware.
One of the reasons I have always been drawn to Khushi's character is her desperate need for love.
Perhaps because she is an orphan or because she is adopted, she is happy with scraps of love.
She feels grateful when people give her love, almost as if she does not believe herself worthy of receiving it.
She comes across as a person who runs around pleasing people to get their love.
She put her own happiness and peace of mind at stake for love….
She is just like a little kid who longs for love and yet fears she can never have it or hold on to it, because it is given like a charity…
And in Arnav I want this need to be fulfilled.
I would love to see her drop her fears.
I would love to see Arnav give her the confidence and reassurance she needs.
I would love to see Arnav give her the feeling that she does not have to 'earn' love, but that no one is more worthy of love than her.
I would love to see Arnav put her demons to rest and be her father, her mother, her lover, her husband, her friend and everything…
IPK has always fulfilled many of my ideas of love…
May be this too shall be fulfilled?
PS: Despite not having Arnav the episode was power packed and thrilling. Tight editing and direction
