Khushi holds Arnav close.. close to her heart,.. in a comforting embrace.. Arnav holds her close as Khushi's soothing hand moves over his hair.. his back.. Arnav's hurting heart finds solace in Khushi's comforting embrace.. Tears trickle down both their faces. After a while they separate. Arnav's vulnerable gaze stays on Khushi's face. Khushi reaches for Arnav's face.. her soothing hand gently holds his face.. as he looks into Khushi's eyes with his tearful gaze, Khushi says confidently, "You haven't failed, Arnav ji! You have always looked for Di's happiness." Then she pulls her hand away and says with an emotional voice, "Life is like that! There are some things in life that are beyond our control. That's what 'destiny' is! It's neither under your control nor mine! Whatever happened to your Amma-Babuji.. with Di.. you cannot change that, Arnav ji! What you can do it be with her!" Emotionally broken, Arnav says, "No, Khushi! I can't do that!" Khushi again reaches for his face. Her gentle, affectionate, soothing touch followed by her words, "Di needs you the most!" make Arnav more emotional. He slightly moves away and says in a heavy voice, 'I can't see Di like this!" then turns to Khushi, his face drenched in tears, his eyes welled up, his voice heavy, he says, "What will I say to her? No, I can't do this!"

Khushi now reaches for Arnav's hand. Holds his hand into both her hands and makes a promise looking him into the eye, "I promise you that you will be able to say all that to Di whatever's on your mind! I really believe so!" Arnav's eyes draw strength from Khushi's eyes, her words and her comforting touch. As Khushi and Arnav are wrapped in their own world of overflowing emotions, the ominous feet of the evil soul take steps towards Anjali's room. As soon as he steps into Anjali's room, Dadi's face turns emotional and she stands up. Anjali's eyes well up and lips quiver, she breaks down as she manages to say, "Our.. princess.. our princess,.. our little doll.." shyam makes a face as if he just found it out and looks at her with a shocked eyes.. he looks at Dadi with disbelief mixed with shock and asks, "How did this happen?" As Dadi looks at him with tearful eyes, Anjali cries inconsolably, he yells, "How did you allow this to happen? Wasn't it your responsibility, Rani Sahiba? Then how did you let her go?" Then he breaks down into tears.. as he cries the crocodile tears, Dadi silently cries at the foor of the bed.. Shyam sits down on the edge of the bed.. Anjali takes Shyam's shoulder to cry her heart out! Shyam continues his melodrama and says in a cracked voice as he continues to lament, "I can take anything but this is not bearable! Where will we get our little princess now?.. I .. I want her!" Then he separates lamenting Anjali from himself and throws a tantrum, "I want my little princess, Rani Sahiba! Just bring me back my little princess, that all!" Poor Anjali! She cries while she says in a submissive tone, "Forgive me! I don't know how all this happened.. I just don't know!" she bursts into tears again. Shyam holds her hand and rubs it in, "If I were with you that day, I would have never let this happen!" Then throws another tantrum, yells, "It's all my fault! My fault! I should have never left you! I had come to attend your Goad Bharayi, Rani Sahiba!" Shyam cries with such an emotional display that Anjali soothes him instead of him soothing her. He continues, "Had I known that this would happen, I would have never left you alone, Rani Sahiba! I can bear it all but I cannot bear to see you break down!.. I can't!.. I can't see it!" Anjali becomes very emotional and hugs him agagin and cries on his shoulder." Anjali cries her heart out as Shyam's crocodile tears slow down and he says with all the evil reflecting in his eyes, behind Anjali and Dadi's back, " Rani Sahiba, just the thought that our little princess will never make it to this world scares me!"

Evil smile breaks on Shyam's face' but Dadi's words bring him back to reality, "Damad ji, control yourself! In this condition.. of Anjali.. " Shyam immediately pulls away and resumes his emotional drama, " I had brought payal.. anklets for her!.. Now she will never be able to wear it.. and she'" his drama hurts poor Anjali really hard emotionally.. she starts choking and coughing on her tears.. Dadi rushes, "Anjali bitiya..control yourself!" Shyam and Dadi get Anjali settled back in the bed. Shyam hits the call bell.. a nurse comes running. At the same time, Arnav's determined steps follow the path towards Anjali's room. Khushi follows him closely. Shyam tells Dadi, 'Dadi ji, I will go see the doctor! Control yourself, Rani Sahiba!" Dadi nods at Shyam in an agreement' as Shyam takes steps towards the door with an evil smile on his face, Arnav's footsteps get closer and closer to the room'

As Arnav's hand hesitates at the door, Khushi says, "She needs you, Arnav ji! You go in, I am with you!.. We both together will take care of Di!" Arnav makes up his mind and pushes the door open, as soon as the door opens.. Arnav and Khushi stop in their track to see Shyam at the door! Khushi's eyes go wide with disbelief.. Arnav's eyes quickly gaze over Anjali, half asleep.. then his eyes come back to Shyam as his anger mounts' he clenches his teeth and says, "How dare you!" as his nostrils flare up and his eyes start oozing anger, Khushi gives him a little squeeze on his shoulder, "Arnav ji, calm down!" Arnav takes couple deep breaths and then reaches for Shyam.. grabs him by collar and pulls him out of the room' Dadi looks at them worried.. As Arnav drags Shyam holding him by collar through the corridor, Shyam keeps saying, "Saale Sahab!.. Forgive me, Saale Sahab!" Arnav brings him to a lonely corner and stops there.. still holding on to his collar.. Arnav's eyes ooze.. rage.. hatred.. anger.. Shyam, the opportunist, plays sincere, pleads, "Forgive me, Saale Sahab!... I just came here.. because.. when I heard about it'I could not stop myself!" Arnav looks at him with penetrating eyes, asks, "Who gave you permission to come here?" Khushi watches them as Arnav further says, "How dare you come close to my Di?" Shyam plays vulnerable, "You probably forgot, Saale Sahab, but she is my wife! ' that baby!. That baby!.. my little princess'" Arnav cannot believe his eyes as Shyam continues his melodrama, "..when I heard about it, I could not stop myself, Saale Sahab!... It's not only your Di who has lost her child!.. Even I have lost my little princess!.. After all, I am the father!" Shyam makes a vulnerable face.. as crocodile tears drench his face in tears.. Arnav can see through him.. his anger mounts.. he clenches his teeth and slaps Shyam really hard! Khushi and Shyam are shocked! As Shyam covers his cheek where Arnav slapped with his hand, Arnav says, "You are no one! Do you understand?.. Nothing!" Arnav's eyes challenge Shyam.

Just them comes Dadi, says in a harsh voice, "Enough of it, Arnav!" Khushi cannot believe it! Shyam quickly thinks. Arnav watches Dadi as she comes and says, "Shyam ji is Anjali's husband! That was his child too! He has every right to come here!... To see his wife!" Arnav stays determined, "This man has no rights over my Di! He is the reason why she is in this condition today!" Arnav says to Dadi. Shyam looks at Arnav.. Arnav clenches his teeth and grabs Shyam again by his collar and says, "Now if he stays here even a minute longer.. then.. I .." Shyam's shrewd mind interrupts Arnav' he says in a calm voice, "What, Saale Sahab? You would hit me, right? Then go ahead, kill me!.. End this!.. I am dead otherwise also' " sighs and says in a sorrowful voice, "Do you even know the pain of losing one's child? . No!.. But, I do, Saale Sahab!.. He takes Arnav's hand off his collar.. pretends to be in deep pain.. says in a challenging tone, "Now I am not going anywhere leaving my Rani Sahiba alone!" Arnav's sharp mind does not miss his move! He immediately makes a fist and goes to hit Shyam when Dadi stops him, "Stop, Arnav!" Khushi looks at him with her jaw open. Shyam is relieved at Dadi's interference.. Arnav warns Shyam, still holding his fist in Shyam's face, "Beware! Don't you even utter my Di's name!.. Forget about coming back in my Di's life! I will not even allow you nearby her!.. Now, get lost! And don't you dare come back!" Shyam is not a weak player, he continues his emotional drama, says, 'No, Saale Sahab! I am not going anywhere!" That irks Arnav.. he now just goes and puches Shyam in his jaw.. real hard! Dadi and Khushi try to stop him.. eight punches later..Khushi just holds Arnav's hand forcing to stop him. Dadi sides with Shyam, "Arnav, you cannot behave like this with the son-in-law of this house!"
