Bush - I just know you're going to pick up on Akaash's EPIC FAIL of a romantic gesture!! Payaak ke saamne hero banne chala - LOL I'm already laughing just thinking about it!! š
Kopal - Mate, I am gob-smacked!! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø your post to bits!!! First of all, how much do I love you for making reference to Orwell's 1984!! And you tied the quotation in SO WELL!!! I like the idea of Arnie being the master of both his past and his present - leading the way to a brighter future as you said!! What a lovely thought Kops! And I just loved your thoughts on Arnie's respect for Garima, so much so that he wishes to prove himself to her - thank you for reminding us of that scene!! I completely forgot about the words that Khushi had once used to describe Arnie, she was bang on!! You know what, forget it, lol it was all just too good!!
It was difficult to pinpoint what I liked, lol so I ended up quoting most of it anyway!! So much for keeping it short!!! š

"Who controls the past controls the future:
One thing we are sure of.. The Key to the Present lies with Arnav.. He has come a long way from living in the past, to living in the present with Khushi.. So it will be he who will be controlling the past when it finally comes to the light.. and once he handles the past, he will open the doors for the future.. A bigger and brighter future.. There are so many pasts and presents Arnav is aware of..
The real truth of Shyam..
The real truth of Garima..
The real truth of Khushi..
As he told dadi the night she wanted to meet Garima.. I know about Khushi and that is all that matters.. He knows.. Khushi is an orphan just like him.. Garima is not her real mom.. In the end it will come down to these 2 truths..
The simple act of appointing a ful time nurse so that Garima can be a part of festivities means a lot.. It is enough proof of what place Garima holds in his heart.. The love and respect he has for her..
On one side we have dadi, who has been told repeatedly, its her wish if she wants to be a part of celebration.. On the other we have Garima, who is being missed when she is not present and he wishes her to be present to see the happiness of her daughter..
He wants to prove to her, that he is in fact the husband which Khushi had once described him to be..
"Arnav ji apno ka bahut Khayal rakhte hain.. Woh dil ke jitne achche hain, utne hi samajhdar bhi hain..Woh har kaam mein hummari madad karte hain, koi bhi kaam humein akele nahi karne dete..Jab bhi aap sab ke baare mein soch kar hum dukhi hote hain, to aapko pata hai woh kitne pareshaan ho jaate hain..Phir hummare chehre par muskurahat laane ki jee tod koshish karenge..jab tak hum hans na de.. Humaari har pasand, napasand ka khayal hai unhe.. Agar humein kuch chahiye, toh humaare maange se pehle hi mil jaata hai humein"
So whatever the pasts hold.. Whatever delusions are created.. Whatever false memories are revealed.. and whatever false names will be given to the real events of the past.. Arnav will seek the truth.. He will be the one who will bring everything out in open..
Here comes the lovely part.. He asks Khushi to stay with Di.. Beautiful moment.. One scene which showed that he entrusts his di's well being with no one else except himself and Khushi.. He will give Khushi the reins of things which are most important to him without a moment's hesitation..
An interesting scene.. Arnav hands Anjali the medicine.. and Khushi gives her the water to swallow it.. 2 people who have sworn to protect Anjali at any cost to themselves are the ones who gave her the replaced pills.. Who knows what effect the pills will have.. But one thing I am sure of, anything which is given to Anjali by Arnav and Khushi will not harm her.. They will always always protect her..
Mr Raizada is overlooking everything personally.. All arrangements, every ritual.. He is making sure that nothing is missed.. Loving the way he has immersed himself into the preparations for the wedding.
Koel - Mate, you NEVER fail to mesmerise me with your words!! You should honestly think about creating a novella of your own!! Love the different equations you've set out in terms of relations; and your intro just said it all! You're right, how long will they be able to run away from the shadows of their past??

A shadow that has watched in silence the blossoming love is finally noticed by Khushi... her sixth sense tells her to move afar from it's presence.. She does so taking Arnav with her...The cloak of anonymity around the master deceiver seems to be slipping...
Sandhya - LMAO, how much do I ā¤ļø you for jumping on the "I hate dadi" bandwagon!!! And true to your stance, you delivered in true "in yo face dadi" style! *hi-five matey*

Well everyone around him knows that Khushi rules his heart and mind now. Dadi ji stamped it with a seal saying that Aaj Kal Humare Pote apne baare me sochthe kaha hai!! Well Dadi who asked you to be on vanvaas for 14 years. You don't know what your grandson has been through. Now he has found his oasis in the ever so desert land called his life.. why are you hell bent on making it look like a mirage. (Lage haath Dadi ka class bhi leliya- š)
Sheila - Girl, you're amazing!!! Like just amazing!! I'm elated that you chose to focus on Arnie and Khushi's growing comfort levels; and the way in which you linked it to past moments - beautiful, just beautiful!!! I read this a few times that's how much I ā¤ļø your narrative on each of the key scenes!! For me, his first "I'm sorry" will forever take precedence and is *hands down* one of the best, if not, the best, Arhi moment for me. A heart wrenching moment of love and pain etched into one - nobody does it like Arhi!! *Officially bookmarked*

That day he realized that his actions took away the semblence of happiness that Khushi had been holding on to... one that he was unable to find for himself... he recognized her efforts for the sake of others never to show her pain... something he has been unable to do and so he had to apologize not because he had wronged her... he had wronged her many times but this time he shook the foundations of happiness she had built and uprooted them... He had to say "I'm sorry" because he knew the strength she has is something even he, the might ASR did not posses...
Shreya - A prayer from one mother to another!! Beautiful lines Shreya!! Your words always hit the mark perfectly, powerfully depicting the depth of emotions which are in essence one of life's many wonders! Kudos!!
Divya - Nicely put matey - always a pleasure to read you! You're right, Arnie and Khushi's love is at their purest; love how they're having fun in falling in love with the simplest of things! Your thoughts on Anj's illusion of love was great, she is indeed getting trapped in her own web of lies, which ironically, Shyam has set up for her!

Another side we can see that the same love is being used as a weapon by Shyam in the form of Anjali for him to take his revenge. One time I feel sad for her that she is not able to read the person whom she considers her world and in the illusion of love she is not able to identify the difference between milk and poison. In the process she is weaving a web of lies that will one day shatter her near and dear ones and specially her brother who started the game for her. Another side i feel why love makes her blind that she even started to lie to her brother
Naz - This is reading brilliantly, some very insightful initial pointers! Especially your take on Anj being made to swallow the bitter pill!! I also liked your thoughts on Shyam repeating the tape, perhaps a case of history repeating itself as you said, or rather, his way of re-writing history by way of manipulating the truth! He will replay only that which serves his own interest! The truth is a powerful force, one which could prove immensely destructive if toyed with by the wrong people - forces of evil.
Chitmanas - A brilliant take on Dadi! Not only was it very well written but I also appreciate the angle you took, such a refreshing perspective! Especially the below quoted; I agree!! God always has His ways of handling situations, and sometimes we get the answer to our prayers when we least expect it!! š

Something about Dadi One cannot hide the truth for long, it has to come out. Garima goes to the temple for the Kul Devi puja and during the aarthi at the temple, she prays to DM asking for strength to tell Khushi the truth as she cannot hide the dark past anymore and cannot keep lying. I loved the way in which DM answered Garima's prayers by making dadi stand right next to her (the first photo). DM certainly has a sense of humor, right?šš
Tejuvijay - Lol Teju, this was hilarious!! Loved the questions you posed and the humour that went into answering them! M&Ms!!? LOL š¤£

Don't you just ā¤ļø NK!!?
NK: Nanav...what nahi...the the...what the..!!! Someone needs to create a post on NK's one liners!! The guy is becoming my ultimate bias!! š¤£
NK: Haan HP, you know, bohat bohat, bare bare, red red julaab!! So much for talking sh*t!! Lmao!!! 𤣠𤣠*wipes tears*
Don't you just ā¤ļø Buaji's wisdom!!?
Buaji: Are Garima, tum pataal mein bhi chup kar bhet jaati, toh wo khat khat ke, khat khat ke bahar nikal leti! So true!! No matter how hard you try to bury the truth, it will always resurface, for truth stands the test of time!
"Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains taken to bring it to light."
Ultimately, the truth will always uncover itself, seeking to break free from the clutches of despair. And it is by Gods law that truth is made to prevail, fighting against the very forces that seek to destruct it by way of manipulation.
Don't you just ā¤ļø Arhi's sweet nothings!!?
Khushi: Shukriya!
Arnie: Kyun!?
Shaz: *Le sigh*
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVED their phone conversation!!!! The scene speaks for itself, and is quite easily, one of my MOST favourite Arhi moments to date! ā¤ļø
Lol, don't you just love their au nauturale, smooth flowing, innocently laid conversations!!? A rarity I tell you!! I love it when actors can depict the essence of reality in such moments, making it look so realistically casual! Damn, I've never seen Arnie this relaxed and comfortable during a phone conversation!! You're a changed man Arnie, and you can thank your newly found Khushi for that!! Awww bless your lil' cotton socks!
Khushi: Aap kya karahe hein
Arnie: Kuch nahi, accounts sign karaha hun *sigh*
Khushi: uff, aap filme khabi dekhte nahi hein kya? Filmo mein jese jawab dete hein wese jawab dijiye na!
Arnie: Matlab..?
Khushi: Aap ko ye kehna chahiye ke mein lete lete asmaan mein taara dekh raha..
Arnie: Khushi, naa to mein bed pe hun, aur asmaan mein itne badaal hein ke taro ka naam aur nishaan tak nahi hein..
...
Khushi: accha suniye, hum phone rakh de *shyly giggles*
Arnie: yah š³
Khushi: *Still on cloud 9* Hum sach mein rakhde!?
Arnie: Khushi stamp paper pe order pass karwaun
Shaz: LOL š¤£
These two are EPIC!! One's a hard hitting realist, and the other is a romantic idealist, marry the two together, then you're left with a perfect grasp of reality! Buaji's read them correctly, it's Sanak V Maha Sanka devi!! š
Their nok jhoks are forever embedded within the warring states of dil V dimaag, and I love it!! This is what makes their love so endearing...two opposites who attract, so much so, that they've learnt to accept each other for who they are.
Arnie: *puts the phone down*
Khushi: What the..!
Arnie: *phone rings* hello
Khushi: aap ese kese hein!!? Aap ko itna bi nahi pata ke jab koi kahe ke aap phone rakh dijiye, iska yeh matlab nahi hein ke aap sach mein phone rakhde..
Arnie: Excuse me, Khushi meri surrounding mein wahi hota hein jo kaha jaata hein.. š³
Khushi: *rolls eyes/frowns in despair*
Arnie: Agar kuch aur matlab hota ho to tum bata do!!
Shaz: Lol š
Look how far they've come!! A man who vows to know EVERYTHING, is clearly a novice in matters of the heart, or should I say cliched romantic gestures. Lol, it's like watching Khushi dish out an idiot's guide to romantic discourse!! š
But what's really sweet is that he know longer barks down the phone at her with his usual WT*, but is willingly ready to learn from her with keen interest. Beautiful!!
Khushi: Jab hum ne kaha aap rakhiye, toh aap bhi kahye na, ke pehle tum rakho, pir hum phir se kahenge, nahi *feigns shyness* pehle aap rakhiye, aur aap...
Arnie: *listening diligently...mouth automatically curves into an affectionate smile listening to her continuous ramblings*
Khushi: aur aap kahege...pehle tum rakho, aapp Luknow ke hein bhi ya nahi, ek hum hein jo yaha pyaar bhar ki baatein karne ki koshish karahe hein, aur ek aap, what the, what the ke aage aap ki gaari barti hi nahin..!
Arnie: *processing it all with a toothy grin*
Khushi: *pouting* ab aap chup kyun hein!?
Arnie: *face turns into a BIG cheeky grin, having formed a plan, clearly preparing himself to render her speechless* (after a long dramatic pause) *mimicking Akaash* Khushi ji, uhh, mein Akaash, actually woh bhai..unho ne..
Khushi: *š³ stuttering* j..j..jijaji..woh...*clearly embarrassed*
Arnie: Ahahhahahahahahaha
Shaz: š¤£
Khushi: aap hum pe has rahe hein..!? š² LOL oh really, you think!!? š
Arnie: Agar tumhari nose red hogayi ho aur tum sharma rahi ho toh han...
Shaz: Hot damn Arnie, why so suave!!!? *faints*
Arnie: Eases into his seat
Khushi: Eases into her bed
*blissfully smiling away* Fully relaxed and comfortable in each other's company, so much so that their relationship looks to be years old as oppose to newly found happiness! Completely living in the present, no thoughts of the haunting past whatsoever, a case of cape diem, living life to the fullest, living life in the moment - and isn't that true for every new found happiness!?? So why should theirs be any different! How much do I love this young love!!? A love which has changed the both of them, not in isolation of their former identities, but in acceptance of them. Love has made them grow in maturity, understanding and faith, and yet, they still retain their former personalities. Personalities which once clashed in arrogance, strong denial and hatred. Today, those same personalities have grown to accept and love one another for who they are, knowing that without the other, they are incomplete. They are quickly growing to become each other's confident...I meant have you ever seen an Arnav this much at ease before?? I love that he's able to laugh his heart out in front of the very person whom he trusts the most, so much so that he has no qualms of letting his guard down. And personally, I LOVE this side to ASR, it makes him appear more human, a side to him which Khushi has every right to see...for she has earned for being his equal. ā¤ļø
