I think she went without a Mangalsutra during Preeto's wedding too...coz there was a necklace in place which was quite heavy.

or yes maybe Dadi or anyone else(but who except Dadi) did object.
But i think its just the costuming same as on Preeto's wedding

PS- Thanks Naddiya for the pic btw!!!!!!!! I just noticed something blue under Arnav's shirt collar!!!!!!!!!
was that a scarf!!!!!!!!! are scarfs ACTUALLY back!!!! *swooning imaging they ARE back*

I think the reason for no mangalsutra is coz of the heavy necklace she is already wearing. Remember for her frds wedding she hadnt worn one then too.

Now what will be interesting to see is will she wear a sindoor...but I doubt if we will be able to tell coz she is wearing a mang tikka as well.
