When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object!

Two strong people pitched against each other! Two people with different beliefs standing against each other.. They are the royalty of the society.. The younger one has learnt his lesson the hard way.. It is now the turn of the oldee one to see the unadulterated truth of KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA..

Dadi, the immovable object, maintains her stand of not wanting Khushi to be a part of her clan.. She does not want a woman of Khushi's character to be married to her grandson.. She is happy to overlook the fact that the unthinkable act which Khushi has done in her eyes is with her grandson only.. The 6 months Khushi lived with the other man, in her words kisi aadmi ke saath, that aadmi is none other than her own flesh and blood!

It does not take her a minute to point fingers on Khushi's character, but when bua ji points out that Her own grandson is equally at fault, she passes it by saying, ladkoin ka dil to kachcha hota hai! That is why they are trapped by girls like Khushi!

Way to go dadi! 😡 In bua ji's word.. Kitni chhoti baat kar di aapne?? Is that what our values teach us.. Is that what you have been doing 14 years of ashram, a place where people go to find peace and reflect on their faults and short comings..

A girl, cos she lived with someone is looked down on.. A boy is relinquished of all blames for the same act because he has XY chromosomes instead of XX..

This is such a sore topic for me! Gender discrimination! I did not want to write about it again today.. But dadi's dialogues were like daggers to my heart.. It is such a shameful state of affairs in our society.. And what hurts and pinches the most is that ultimately its a woman who exploits a woman!

Naari, as Khushi and NK pointed out, is still a bechaari!

A girl spends her entire life and existence giving.. spreading happiness around her.. She tries to bring joy to her parent's life.. Later she tries to bring happiness to her husband's family.. She even changes her name, a proof of the commitment she makes in the relation.. She tries to leave her fragrance on her every life she touches.. It is heart wrenching to see how it only a woman who is ridiculed.. only a woman who is accused.. only a woman who becomes outcast.. only a woman who becomes tainted for the same action and men run scout free.. A woman who becomes impure, when men are let off the hook cos they are men.. Why is their double standards in our society??

If this is what our society preaches and practice, I don't want anything to do with it.. I want to be a part of society where, there is no discrimaination between a son and a daughter..Where daughter in law is just like a daughter.. Where people are not spared cos they are Men.. Where the honour of men is as much at stake as a woman.. Where people like nani and bua ji exist, who consider, if their daughter was at fault, so was their son! Where the women is not an outcast, but men maintain there place and position..

Enough rambling... Lets move on...

Dadi played bua ji smartly.. She insulted Khushi, her upbringing, her character to an extent where bua ji put her foot down and said, She does not want her niece to marry her grandson..A satisfying moment for dadi! Her work here is done.. She got what she wanted.. The marriage was off!

Dadi goes back to RM and tells everyone to stop preparing for the Shagun cos madhumati ji has broken off the alliance.. shocking everyone! Everyone left to wonder why would bua ji take such a step!

Enter.. Unstoppable force aka Arnav Singh Raizada..

Arnav's love for Khushi is that Unstoppable force which will not rest till it achieves its Objective.. That is to make Khushi his FOREVER!

In yesterday's episode we saw a man desperately in love.. he watched the love of his life being dragged out of his life.. In that minute he relived all the anguish he had ever felt.. Every fear he had ever faced was rekindled.. His fear of losing another loved one.. He does not see any other way out of it.. He will do anything that is required to keep Khushi in his life.. Even if that is something he does not give a damn about.. If he needed to remarry his WIFE.. He will do it.. Only because he can not think of a life without her...

He hears dadi informing the family that madhumati ji has called off the wedding.. He sees everyone getting hyper excited about the situation.. He is not fazed by it.. He knows what he has to do.. He will sort everything out.. He instructs everyone to carry on with the preparation, cos THEY WILL GO with the Shagun.. He looks at dadi and is aware that she is definitely the root of the trouble..

Next scene.. He enters GH.. The whole beauty of the episode was in this one segment..

Arnav walks into the Gupta residence.. He does not knock, he does not ask bua ji or Garima anything.. He does not seek their permission to speak to Khushi.. he just wants to know where she is, so that he can speak to her.. When Bua ji tells him khushi will not come out, he, without any hesitation, goes to find her in her room..

Of course, for him, she is still his wife.. He has every right to meet her.. All this drama he is doing and tolerating is only to take her back to her rightful place, not because it is required for him.. Because he has realised the previous night, that the rituals, customs may mean nothing to him.. but are important to her.. Till they are not married in a proper traditional, ritualistic way, she will not be able to give in to him.. And if he insists that she does, he will be disrespecting her..

He enters the room, she turns away from him, trying to hide the angry slap marks on her face.. Aware that he will not take this slap by her Mother lightly.. He will get angry.. His anger rises when she does not look at him, he turns her to face him and sees the red marks on her cheeks.. She rushes into his arms.. overwhelmed by the proceedings of the day.. looking for the security which only his embrace holds.. He asks her, who dared to do this to her, wants to deal with her mother and bua, for trespassing the boundaries.. Only to be stopped by her.. Letting him know that her mother has every right to scold and slap her..

He fails to understand why a simple thing like renewing their vows has become such a big thing.. Why are things being blown out of proportion.. He just wants to get this over with.. He makes it clear.. She wants it, so lets do it and finish it.. He walks off and informs bua ji that he will come the next day with his family for the shagun, and to be ready.. Bua ji confrims his doubts that they also wanted the same thing, but it was his dadi, who came and insulted Khushi to no end, which has led to this disharmony..He again makes himself clear.. He does not understand why they are stuck in small stuff, he wants to remarry Khushi and put an end to all this madness..

He reaches home and informs everyone, that it was nothing.. They WILL BE taking the Shagun to Khushi's home.. He dodges the subject of the reason behind bua ji's action...

DADI- ARNAV CONFRONTATION!

After hearing that the marriage is still on, Dadi gets up and leaves, Breathing heavily..

A determined and clear sighted Arnav informs her..

" Main achchi tarah jaanta hoon dadi aap kya karne ki koshish kar rahi

hain..Khushi ke yahaan Shagun lekar jaa raha hoon.. Aap aayein, ya nahi"

I am surprised how well matched the two of them are..

SO DIFFERENT.. YET SO ALIKE..

Both are fixed to their spots.. Not giving in an inch..

Dadi is not ready to accept Khushi.. Leaving everyone clueless to her motives.. What has Khushi done to irk her so much.. Why is there so much pre conceived hatred for her.. Where does her anger stem from? Is it only because in her society, she has stayed with Arnav and hence tarnished her reputation.. or is there a bigger reason for it.. She deems such a girl unsuitable to become his daughter in law.. to be A MALIK bahu...

But she keeps forgetting the most important issues here... The 14 year old boy, who used to worship her, is now a 29 year old man who despises her for her abandonment.. That Man hates her for inability to see the truth..He can see that she is targeting Khushi for no fault of hers.. However much she may fight to get hold of the reins of house hold, he will not let her break everything he has rebuild with so much love and care.. He will keep his WORLD intact and away from her meddling ways..

He is no longer the 14 year old ARNAV MALIK.. He is a 29 year old self made business tycoon, a husband, ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA, who knows how to hold a family together.. He is a PROTECTOR.. and he will shield Khushi, his wife from her unfound accusations!

REFLECTION!!

Aloof he stands.. The glass door, telling the tale of what is going through his heart and mind.. The visions of the present and the past.. His actions..

He stands there.. Reflecting on everything that is happening now.. Remembering the things which have led to this..

He thinks about the slap mark on Khushi's cheek.. He remembers that his dadi went and raised questions about Khushi's character.. Khushi is being called an easy woman cos HE BLACK MAILED HER INTO THE MARRIAGE! He dragged her to the temple and married her without rituals.. HE refused to give her the status of wife in HIS room..

She still took care of him as his WIFE.. She showed him that she still cared about him.. HE once again chose to blame her for everything.. HE did not give her a chance to prove her INNOCENCE.. She begged him to listen to her and believe her that she was not involved with shyam.. but HE left her at the airport, not giving her a chance..

Despite his actions, she was the One who searched for him when he went missing.. She was the one who saved HIM from the jaws of death.. She almost died in trying to save HIM..

He FINALLY understands what his actions have done to her life.. He Holds HIMSELF responsible for EVERY SINGLE PAIN in Khushi's life.. And today when she was hurt by someone, he again shouted at HER..

How much more she has to BLEED.. How much more she has to prove.. How long will she be punished for the action of OTHERS??

Confusing things...

1. The house and the land is in Khushi's name.. She has apparently asked Arnav to do that for her.. Well, I am confused.. It is not owned by bua ji.. if we are talking about GH.. So what difference was it supposed to make?? In fact even if she did.. she secured the interest of her maternal family, isn't it?

2. This is a million dollar question.. What is it about Khushi that has dadi's knickers in a twist?

3. Garima's reactions.. Was she scared of DADI for something she did.. or was she jus avoiding the past.. Arnav bituwa ki dadi.. and the anger that followed.. left me confused about the past..

Eagerly waiting for doods to clear it.. 😊

4. What the hell was Shyam doing in RM?? What are Arnav's security guards doing???

1. Bua ji is ready with her belan to defend Khushi..

2. Khushi is making an attempt to make Bua ji understand that Arnav is not arrogant.. His anger was a mask to hide his pain..
