Ok, when I first heard about tonight's episode, I knew I was in for something of a treat, but I wasn't quite expecting this...this was intense, brilliantly intense! And oh so gratifying! I knew, or rather I hoped that we'd see a continuation of Arnav's pain and conflicting emotions post Friday's head to head. And what a way to bring it in! Once I got past my phangurling, I was able to appreciate the dynamics of Arnie's character this episode and the way in which he brought that out through his love for Khushi.

When I told you to make a gutter post I was sort of hyped up on all the romance...

But once I took off my Gutter Glasses I appreciated the episode even more.

I could see where they both were coming from.

Khushi, a simple small town girl who holds customs and rituals to an extremely high importance in her life. She could never ever go through something like that without having completed them all. Not only that but she will not accept her position as a Raizada bahu without everything being done correctly. But you could also see her love for Arnav in every moment, she loves him and of course she wants to be with him and for a split second she is willing to give into temptation but is bought crashing down when she sees the statues and remembers Payal's and Nani's words. I'm glad she stood her ground, she's with him for life but she wants everything done properly this time.

And Arnav, a man who up n till a few months ago didn't even believe in the constitution of marriage. Today he's stating all the things he holds important. His feelings, their feelings for each other. He never has cared for customs & traditions, always done things his way. Including falling in love & getting married. In his eyes this marriage is just between the two of them nothing to do with anyone else. All that matters is that they love each other...

Once he realises her need for al the reeti, riwaj though, he will leave no stone unturned to complete them and then make her Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada hamesha hamesha ke liye. 😍
