i believe it is Khushi who had that flash back to her dream and not ASR na. The flash focus on her for a few second then camera turn to ASR by the door so to me she is the one recalling the dream not asr.

He knew about the pearls cuz he broke hers on their first meeting. I think the significance of the flashback was that it was Khushi's first dream when she and Arnav were together, happy and Arnav gifted her that pearl necklace in her dream. Arnav didn't know about that dream...only Khushi did. It indicated Arnav making Khushi's dreams come true and that's why Khushi got all emotional. Or at least that's what i think.

If they had used aao jab tum sajna as the bg music here too it would have been so appropriate, firstly cos he bought her home and secondly that's what she had imagined their reunion to be. The Beast turned into a Prince again, but for how long?
