Hey All back with an OS 😉..Hope its good 😛 and its a continuation of yesterday's epi.I know i still have an SS to update 😉 but couldnt resist writing this !😳
OS - You Lied To Me !Khushi stood by the entrance to Buaji's house and watched Arnav driving back home.She felt tears running down her face.But it has to be done she told herself wiping her tears.She knocked buaji's door while plastering a happy smile across her face.
"Khon hai nanda kisore"Buaji came rushing to open the door.She was shocked to see Khushi standing outside with a bag in her hand.
"Hai re nanda kisore!Sanka Devi tum itne subhe subhe ihaan ka kara rahi ho?Aur yeh ka?"Looking down at her bag "Ghar mein sab teek hai na kahin tum ghar chod kar nahi aaye ho?"
"Oh fho buaji aap bhi na.Pehle humme andar tho aane dheejiye"Khushi came inside dumping her bag on the sofa.
"Arey Parameswari ka hua?tum aisan kyun aaye ho aur damadji kahaan hai?Arey sanka devi ab batha hi diyo"
"Buaji aap pareshaan math huyiye.Ghar mein sab teek hai.Humko bus aap sab ka bohot yaad aa rahi thi.Thohum Arnavji aur naniji se kehkar kuch din yahaan rehne ke liye chali aayi.
"Hai re nanda kisore kal hi tho milke gaye the na?Aur damadji kyun nahi aaye tumri saath?"
"Arey buaji Arnavji ne humme yahaan chodatha"
"Ka Arnav bitwa ne thumhe choda? par woh kaisan andhar nahi aaye?"
"Aap tho unhe jaanthe hai na buaji.unhe ek zaroori kaam tha isliye humme jaldi se chodkar chale gaye"
"Acha teek hai nanda kisore"
"Yeh leejiye buaji"holding out a box" naniji ne aapke liye ladoo beja hai"
"Acha!"buaji smiled happily taking a ladoo and popping in her mouth.
"Buaji,amma aur babuji kahaan hai?"Khushi asked looking around the house.
"Garima tumra babuji ko Dr. ke paas lekhar gaye hai check up ke liye"
"oh acha teek hai.Waise buaji khane ke liye ka hai ghar pe humme bohot bookh lagi hai"Khushi said pouting.
"Hai re nanda kisore sanka devi tumne kuch kaaya nahi ka?"
"Humne shantivan se khaaya buaji phir bhi aap ke haath se bana hua khana khaane ke liya mann kar rahi hai"
Buaji laughed "teek hai nanda kisore tum beito hum kuch pakode banakar laathe hain"
Khushi jumping up rubbing her hands together gleefully "Pakode!! buaji rukhiye hum bhi aap ko madhath karthe hain"She went and stood next to buaji helping her out.
As Arnav was driving back home,his thoughts kept returning to Khushi.He couldnt erase the image of Khushi as she left to buaji's house.He could tell something is not right.The way she said her goodbyes to everyone at home,the way she kept quiet all through the drive to her buaji's house.Arnav was feeling restless.He had already started missing Khushi.How will he survive without her for even few days?The very thought of her not being there is doing something to his heart.He felt he need to see her again.He will make up some excuses he decided and quickly turned the car around back to buaji's house.
Khushi and buaji were at the kitchen preparing pakodas when the door bell rang.Khushi said happily "hum dekhthe hain.Lagtha hai amma aur babuji aagaye hai"she rushed and opened the door.She stood there shocked her mouth open wide"Aap?"staring at arnav.Before he could respond,buaji came rushing.
"Khon hai nanda kisore?"spotted Arnav standing outside the door.
"Arnav bitwa!"She turned around hitting Khushi on the head"Arey sanka devi tum kahaan aisan kade ho.Damadji ko andhar tho aane dho"
Arnav stood there confused looking at a fully healthy buaji.
"Buaji aap ki thabeth kesi hai?"he asked almost with a confused expression on his face.
"Humre thabeth?humre thabeth ko ka hua babua hum tho bohothi teek hai"she laughed loudly."Pehle tum andhar aao babua"
Arnav looked at Khushi who had a guilty look on her face.He realised immediately that Khushi had lied to him.She failed to look at him in the eye.He remembered how she stopped him this morning when he told her he will also stay at buaji's house and how again she stopped him from seeing buaji when he dropped her.
Khushi just stood there figeting with her duppatta sure that she has been caught.
Arnav asked buaji"Buaji kya main Khushi se akhele main kuch baath kar saktha hoon?"
Khushi jerked her eyes up to his.He looked back at her with anger simmering within him
Buaji unknown to all this said"Bilkul babua woh tumra biwi hai tum jitna chahe utna baath karlo hum pakode banakar aathe hain"with that she strolled back to kitchen.
Arnav held Khushi by the hand and pulled her roughly with him outside to the balcony.Khushi struggled to free her hand but as always his grip is more stronger.
"Khushi tumne mujhse jhoot bola?Tumne kaha tha ki buaji's ki thabeth karaabh hai aur tum unko dekhbaal karne ke liye yahaan rukhna chahthi thi? Par buaji tho bilkul teek hai.Kyun kaha tumne aisa?"
She remained quiet.
"I asked kyun dammit?Answer me!! tumne jhoot kyun bola?"
Khushi equally angered shouted back "Kyunki hum wahaan aur nahi rehna chahthe the"
"Dammit maine kaha na jab tak hummari contract katham nahi hui tab tak tum kahi nahi jaa sakthi?bhool gayi?"
"Humme achi tharah se yaad hai Mr.Raizada.Shayad aap bhool rahe hai ki aapki woh contract kal raath katham hui thi.Aaj se hum dhono pathi patni nahi hai"
Arnav felt his whole breath rush out of him.He felt as if the entire ground below him shaking.His damn contract! He had totally forgotton about it.
Shakily he took a step forward to her"Khushii pls waapas aajao"
"Humme wahaan aane ki ab koi zaroorath nahi hai"
"zaroorath hai Khushi.Tumhare bina main..."He stopped midway.
He tried again "Khushi yeh saari contract baathon ko bhool jao pls mere saath ghar chalo main tumhare bina jee naji paonga"
Khushi almost gave in but she remembered she is doing this for di and his happiness."Ab sab kuch badhal gaye hai arnavji hum waapas kabhi nahi aayenge.Aap yahaan se chale jaayiye"with that she ran inside locking the door behind her.Leaving Arnav alone with his sorrows.
