Its a guess ofcourse ..inspired by one promo that said Khushi is responsible for Arnav's past. It didnt say khushi's family.

so lemme get this straight because i've spent eight hours in college after three months of doing nothing in my holidays...😆 arnav's father was having an affair with shyam's sister...then shyam's sister delivered a son..khushi told arnav's mom and she shot herself..shyam swore revenge and married anjali...so the whole situation lands up as...Shyam=Mr. Malik, Khushi=Shyam's sis, Arnav=Shyam, Anjali=Mrs. Malik...🤣 is SERIAL KO KYA NAAM DOON? 🤣 no offense...but this is so 70's bollywood film...like 'Teesri Manzil in Saas Bahu'..

But how could that have linked to Arnav's past. From that promo it sounded as if the particular incident that is haunting Arnav, is because of Khushi somewhere.
