Rose scene was beautiful!!i had tears seeing them like that!! and well i kind of first wondered why, a moved Khushi (she completely melted at the night wishes) continued to act pricy!
hmm..now i know why khushi is doing this...it is not just for pettiness or anything...this is her way of reassuring her heart that the mean n cruel words he so easily told her actually didn't mean anything..
cz if he can so easily hurt her to her face, say such cruel words..well it means he should be able to tell sweet nothings also to her face right?
yup..and arnav is finding this hard! that is the exact reason khsuhi wants him to cross that bridge cz it for her will act as an indication that she actually means a lot to him!!
on the surface it seems as if khushi is giving him a hard time over a simple thing..but nah..this is not about the b'day wishes!! not at all!
this is khushi finally NOT letting go of his faults!!
this is khushi, for the first time holding on a grudge!
this is khushi for the first time making arnav to give in through emotional blackmail!
this is khushi behaving for the 1st time like a proper wife and demanding her share of rights!!
this is khushi standing in her decision firmly without compromising her self respect and her own happiness..
so this is not about a b'day wish..this is the final culmination of all the hurt he has given her, and her very unique KKG way of assuring her own fragile heart that he cares..
and also being her age for a change and thinking of her own wishes than someone else's wishes!!
so ya i am happy to see this!!
finally she does something JUST for herself!!! finally!! thank god there is at least this one little instance where she differs from the self sacrificing trait of all other SP leads!!
and i don't even care if it was on the surface for a little thing when she sacrifices so much other big things!!
And oh ya!! one more thing!
for the first time khushi is finding another human being she is comfortable enough to actually be herself!!
cz the orphaned little girl had always been insecure as she had no1 of her own! she always tried to make sure she pleased every1 around her just so that they'll not want to throw her out of their lives!!
but for the first time khushi is having someone of her very own to whom she can tell anything! show any attitude!!
this is the same thing as of arnav! cz khushi is the only person he can open himself up to! not even his di!! cz he tries to protect anjali, so he can't reveal everything! but for khushi he reveals everything in his heart, in anger or in pain!
therefore this will eventually show that they r true soulmates! that is why they can do it!!
and that is why this is actually a good thing!!
it is usually fine to hide ur true feelings behind a mask. but not from ur life partner! cz then only a true marriage will be made!!
