Just out of college, living independently in Vegas khushi was 22 years old. A determined and ambitious girl. Her parents lived in India.
It was December and her best friend Alex's birthday was just around the corner. 3 days from her birthday there was a buzz that pop star arnav singh raizada was on a world tour and his next stop was Vegas. Alex was Arnav's crazy fan just like other friends of khushi who wasn't that crazy about him.
Khushi had some work to do and she refused to go to a noisy concert. "You call yourself a friend?? Look khushi I am crazy after this guy and I want you to be there when I see him…please khushi I have worked so hard to get backstage passes for the two of us" said Alex being the drama queen she was. And since no one had ever won an argument with her, khushi agreed.
The night of the concert arrived. Alex was crazy as ever, screaming at the top of her lungs when ASR appeared on the stage. Khushi on the other hand seemed rather bored. "its 12:30 Alex and this noise is going nowhere near stopping…I'm really tired and sleepy" said khushi yawning. "Oh please just a little while…this is gonna be over any minute and THEN…then I will finally get to meet HIM can't u wait just a little longer" said Alex. "ugghh not again..! I always fall for the puppy dog face" said khushi looking away. "pleeez?" "Oh alright!" "yayy I love u!"
They made their way backstage and Alex's dream was finally fulfilled. He was standing right in front of her. "OH MY GOD! I can't tell u how much I love you u r so HOT" said Alex. He sure was with those chocolate brown eyes of his.
"P-I-C-T-U-R-E!!!" Alex was really very excited while khushi on the other hand looked bored…tired.
Arnav : do you want to be in the picture?
Khushi : No thanks J
Arnav stared at the beauty before his eyes like she was an alien. She doesn't want to take a picture with ME?! He though to himself, while examining her profile. She loose curly hair, brown eyes…but not as brown as his. Her red top with dark blue Capri jeans suited her so well. He almost asked her her name when it hit him, "she's just another arrogant girl…nothing special" he told himself.
Soon the group of girls moved out and khushi made her way to her car. It was 1:30 and she was feeling dizzy because of the noise she had been tolerating for the past 3 hours. She opened the car door and lay down on the back seat. Thinking that the driver will come any minute and take her home. Soon she heard the ignition and the care started to move. A couple of hours later when she woke up and to her surprise the car was still moving!
She sat up and got the biggest shock of her life…the person driving the car was not her driver but the person whom she had arrogantly refused to take a picture with.
"what the?!" were the only two words Arnav Singh Raizada could say looking at the girl sitting in his backseat.
