Its great how ppl r so involved in this show. So a couple of things:

1. Yes - no one perhaps knows for a fact whether there was deal or not between Daljeet and PH, and I am not sure if the PH will (or even should) ever come out with that fact. So ppl who say no deal was done are as right/wrong as ppl who say it was done! At this point, it might be best to leave this deal business out of the discussion. And yeah I do see how it can be a bit personal and offensive for Daljeet- again it wasn't intended to be. in fact the post was directed to PH really.

None of us really know the truth. Regardless, the PH obviously valued her enough to convince her to stay. Just sayin'...

3. Also in the last one year's popularity - lets rewind our memories and reminisce on what was liked the most in the serial. Lets be really honest on what really popularized the serial? Was it really the bro sis relationship? Or was it this khatti meethi nok jhok between the lead pair? ANd if we all know the answer which I am sure we all do - because the PH certainly does- then it isnt unfair to raise one's opinions/concerns regarding a deviating storyline.

Honestly, I liked a bunch of stuff. Loved the Arnav/Anjali dynamics, the whole Lavanya makeover, Mami (who is hilarious when she isn't in MIL mode), and NK (every interaction w/ him). Yes, Khushi and Arnav are the lead pair, but the other characters have been vital to the appeal of this show...

4. which brings to the next point- who in the world thinks tht ppl only want mushy romantic scenes? Why whenever there is objection regarding "too much of anajli" ppl suddenly jump to "oh u only want romantic scenes." WHy be so naroow minded? One of the best things abt IPK was all characters were well developed including the Guptas. So fans dont just want romantic scenes they want a balanced story that the lead pair drives.
This is where you completely lose me... Too much Anjali!?! It would not have made any sense to ignore the impact that the Shyam unmasking had on Anjali. Anjali has gotten like 2 days worth of screen space and only the last few moments of That ME. I think it's necessary to show Anjali and how she is going to cope. Yes, Arnav and Khushi are the main attractions for most, but they have gotten and will continue to get a majority of the screen space. If none of us ever heard that Daljeet was planning on leaving the show, this Anjali story would probably have been a non-issue.

5. which brings to the last point...its unfair to tell the PH tht "oh read this post on IF regarding some fans wanting less anjali in the serial - but this is only a small portion of the fans"..its like sayign every1 who is not on IPK IF wants this anjali thing going on. Thats unfair and not accurate. It wil be only fair to portray this IF thread as a discussion...and making it clear tht there r as many ppl (if not more) wanting less anjali character as there are who want tht character to be "parallel" or whtever else the term is...

As far as sending your post on to 4 Lions, the person suggesting it said it was to let them know how MOST people felt. I was saying that you can't mislead them into believing that it's representative of the majority. You can only say that this is how some of us feel. You're right that there might be more people who want less Anjali, but then again we'll never know since IF isn't representative of a huge population of folks.

Again, I firmly believe that other people can and should have more screen space. It's an ensemble cast and this show would not work without them. And in order for us to connect or stay connected to these other characters, they need to be given ample screen space.

Ofcourse after the revelation of shyam's truth the focus was to be on anjali. But here the point is the focus is now entirely on Anjali. They are trying to force us to have sympathy with Anjali.Showing brother-sister bond every second is to indicate that Anjali is also a lead of this show. And that is the complaints of the viewers.Khushi is the female lead. But right now the focus has shifted to anjali more than her.

And those who feel Daljeet is not responsible for this track please go and read DB's TB article. She herself said that she felt that her role is not getting proper justice. She wants the brother-sister bond to come back. She also said that people should give a benefit of doubt to Anjali. It is very clear that to give in to her demands the CVs are forcing the brother-sister bond on us.Remember the Arnav in the kidnapping track. He was always thinking about Khushi. And now Arnav is shown as his Di Ka Chamcha. In order to give Anjali more screen space they are not only ruining the essence of ArShi romance but also the character of Arnav.

The irony is as much as they as are trying to create sympathy for Anjal, the sympathy people are getting more irritated with her.Nobody is giving her benefit of doubt. But everybody is considering her the vamp in the story.

I don't see a problem with what it currently is. I think this is the perfect time to test that Arnav/Anjali dynamic with Khushi thrown into the mix. It's more juice than we've gotten in the last 5+ months.

Personally when there were rumors about Daljeet quitting the show, I didn't really care about it. IPKKND was not famous because of her, Anjali character was still intact. I read somewhere in one of her interview " That people like Arnav- Anjali scene and they enjoy it" hum hum, well maybe during the debut of the show but now I don't think so.
Capricious actress...

But that's the whole point of the track! To show how stuck Arnav is between his wife and sister!
