I know it was not the best, but i liked the ME for various reasons:
1. we got to see the GH again, khushi is always happy with her family because they accept her as she is, and arnav got to see that. he wanted to put a smile on her face, and in GH nobody needed to do it, she smiled most of the time she was not in his presence. Secondly, the way he let buaji lord over him gave an insight as to the kind of man he is[ we saw that b4 too at GH}. for buaji, he was not ASR, he was her niece' hubby who forgot her bday, and , hence needed to be chided. she considered him to be family and hence, he is comfortable for the same reason in GH as khushi- HE CAN BE HIMSELF AND STILL LOVED!!!!!!!
2.I loved the way buaji made him eat so much, and khushi felt bad for him- she does have a forgiving soul, hope i could borrow some from her😊.
3. arnav's gift and khushi's reaction. from his past relationships, arnav has learnt the quick way to placate womenfolk.he got lavanya a designer bag after yelling at her , and what did she do? she forgave him and gave him a hug and thanked him.HE DIDNT NEED TO SAY SORRY! but , what did our KKGSR do? she called amanji and thanked him\🤣; loved her reaction; exactly what i would do. ASR failed in his first attempt to manao his wife but learnt a valuable lesson and admitted it later while planning her surprise- when NK kept giving suggestions after suggestions, he muttered KUCH DILSE!!! good going ASR, you are a damn slow learner buddy, but atleast u r not unteachable😆 i also loved what khushi did with his 2 lakh bag[in ur face asr] and his forced calm on seeing its state.😃now WISH HER!!
4.aRNAV HAS A TOUGH TIME SAYING SORRY- khusi knows it and nani does 2, so when he finally says it by mon or tuesday, the audience and khushi will know that its a BIG DEAL!
5. the last scene- important for SOOO MANY reasons: it showed symbolically that anjali will be the one coming between them as well as bringing them together- how? she took away the flowers arnav got 4 khushi; but khushi knew that arnav got it for her and at the same time appreciated arnav's silence on the matter.it made her love him more at that moment arnav saw exactly that and , his respect for her shot up once more- it was evident from his expression, it made him love her more FROM that moment.it also implies that IF anjali turns negative in the future, then they will love each other more inspite of that.
5. loved the fact that even though she knows he has never said it B4, khushi is EXPECTING him to say happy bday to her- why ?because she knows he loves her like hell. even the stuff she said in fri's epi was to instigate and anger him, because she thought he would use his love to stop her, not his anger/force.
6. payash scenes- i actually loved them because i see a blowup coming on that front soon, and khushi will blame ASR for it,BUT, this time he will not only fix it , but fix it for good!something also tells me, that mami will change sides if akash plans to throw payal out, but i maybe wrong.

OH, another thing, i had made a post about how the redemption track also has to do with ASR's transformation, in addition it also has to do with him realising khushi's emotional needs, and what ticks her, etc, and viceversa; they have known each other for long, now they know that they love each other, next step, they need to understand each other 2, and that will happen in the RTR track, but the ride's going to be VERY BUMPY, MY FRIENDS!!
ofcourse, the epi was not upto par, and i didnt see some things i expected to see:
1.a RV when he asked, khushi, tum ghar wapas aaogi naa?
2.a RV when nani said ASR told her about the BDAY.
3.arnav hitting khushis head a second time to avoid growing horns[ though he doesnt believe in i
4. khushi should have worn a saree.
5. same scenes portrayed with a little more intensity, still keeping the ASR and chirpy khushi, this could have been achieved with better background score.
6. the epi seemed to be shot in a hurry[ acc to some source, they shot until 1am on fri night] and hence lacked finer editing and proper camera angles.
All in all, the ME laid a solid foundation for the entire next week but will not contribute as much to the TRPS as thurs and fridays epis.
