They are definately setting the scenes up for the week. I had read some where that Maha episodes don't really count for the TRPs because it wouldn't be fair to the other shows that don't air one that day so perhaps the writers of the show have used the Maha Episode as good opportunity to set the show up for where it should be during the week so they can use that to sky rocket the TRPs for the week.

It's just a thought...

honestly I LOVED the episode today. I think this episode couldn't have gone in any other direction. If they had chosen to put everything (Khushi' bday suprise, the rain sequence etc) in today's show, it would have been too rushed and completely out of the blue. It would have been so fandom. I mean on friday's epsiode she has decided to leave the house and then Arnav thows in the "contract marriage" to get Khushi to stay. Instead that makes her more angry and then the next morning she goes back to her house and then Arnav shows up there, scoulds her and then he finds out it's her bday. He can't just whoo her after all of that has happened. It takes some planning if he's going to get her back forever this time...

So all this maha epsiode has done for me is put me a in a good mood and it's making me VERY anxious to see monday's and the rest of the week's episodes

Totally agree!! It's more like going to be a maha weekday.. it defo did remind me of the good old days .. and I was actually laughing cuz it was effortless compared to the other comedy!!

Todays episode was brilliant !

they had to show the different ways arnav had to think to get khushi the best present !

they had to show the failure of the bad etc.. so that he would think and prepare a well thought out present..

it wouldn't have felt right if randomly a rain sequence came today ..everyone would be complaining about the fact that khushi had forgotten what asr has done to her..

yeh and it would effectvely be clever to leave all the good scenes until next week..because the precaps of those scenes would keep listeners hooked..

Though I enjoyed the ME and fully respect what the creatives planned for it. It was perfectly in line with the story and current track. However what disappointed me is the hype that was created about Arshi romance in the ME through multiple posts n some spoilers...that was really misleading and misguiding. So in that sense i was a bit disappointed as i was looking forward for an Arshi romance which unfortunately didn't turn out.

But then I thought we viewers are also so dumb that since we all wanted Arshi romance for long tym so we believed every such claim made about this epi...

However to cut the crap...the epi was damn funny esp the bua ji house scenes were roflling ...Hats off to Sarun for their performances n loved Buaji too :D LOlx
