See this fear of loosing important person makes you do crazy things for them..But that doesn't cover up for the faults though..

I don't see reality in Arnav's acts there; it was plainly his annoyance with Khushi and her constant presence in his life. He pushed his opinions on her and Anjali flat out refused to accept his prejudiced opinion. She did emotionally blackmail him, but there was no other way to make him see the truth about Khushi, was there?

I agree with that; covering up a fault can work temporarily but then it will only be worse when the volcano does burst in the end...
