Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong.

Solomon Island story anyone ??(Source: Taare Zameen Par)
It is said that natives of the soloman islands could literally yell at trees that they wanted to chop down. These trees would subsequently die.

She was already embarking on a journey of guilt trip. Khushi is that sort of a person who bends behind her back to keep everyone happy. That's her given nature. Her characteristic trait. Selfless to core or can be self pleasure quotient here. If everyone around her have a happy smile on their face, she smiles naturally. And if her radar picks up any distress signal, there she goes with her ammunitions intact to solve the problem. May be at the cost of sparing her own happiness to the extent of giving up her life. And today the pivot on which her life balances, the man who she deeply loves, the center of her small universe, the only person on whose shoulder she shares her burden and only source which enlivens her dark space literally questioned her reason for existence. She was accused of ruining his sister's life because a pervert lusted after her. She was said had she not crossed the path with the love of her life, his sister's happiness could be intact. All this while not even giving her a chance to explain herself.

The girl's very soul ripped .It was shredded into pieces which is beyond recognition that it once was a crystal soul. It was a sure shot death knell. She could have any day preferred death then stand there and listen to those noxious words. Sometimes physical injury can be dealt with but not mentally inflicted wounds. Because physical injuries heal. But not mental wounds. It takes a great deal of effort to forgive when abused for no reason. When you are a victim but you are put in the bracket of suspect. Its like she is seeking validation about herself. Tell me who I am. Tell me what am I worth. Because she truly loved him and she knows he truly loves her. This time she was very confident that he loved her and she didn't fool herself. She also knows that he gives himself to anger more often than not.

And thus the road for redemption to Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada opens. But this time he literally has to crawl on his knees on a stony and thorny path to win her back.

But as Gandhiji said

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

-Mahatma Gandhi.

She will forgive him because she in a league of her own.

awesome post!!

im a self admitting asr phanka .. so i felt sorry for him. bec he pushed away and humiliated his own love and happiness today. i felt so sorry for khushi today .. i wept for her. by the end of the episode. poor gurl got rejected by him.. that to now of all times. after all the truth was out... she hoped on loved again thought he would be hers and he rejected her with the truth.
it was not intentional but he scared her today. and he has to redeem himself.

Yeh, I see what you mean! But I'll be honest, whilst watching, I was preparing for the worst, but when I watched the confrontation between Arnav and Khushi, I was rather relieved in the way it played out!! Yes, his words stung, but the fact that he was controlled by his emotions clearly showed that he really didn't mean what he said, but was desperate to escape the burden of guilt, emotional turmoil, his sister's pain, his own fate...it was really different to the usual bout of ASR anger, don't you think? Even if they kept the fb/reflective drive for the next episode, I don't think I would have blamed Arnav for the way he reacted. In fact, I'd say that it was rather typical of him, and I'm pretty sure Khushi knows that as well. I'm thinking that if anything, what will really force her to make that decision to leave, is not Arnav, but her own guilty conscience. I like that none of them are perfect in terms of their personality, both Arnav and Khushi have their weaknesses and ill traits. They're both stubborn, they both act/react rashly, they're both selfish and selfless at times, they're both resolute..it's their likeness in trait that binds them together to some degree, and will create understanding between the two.

Barun Sobti as an actor, he is par excellence but as Arnav/ASR, he does not deserve any love or sympathy.
Sanaya Irani, as an actor is a multi talented actor who is superb, extraordinary. As Khushi, she is someone, I would love to have as a daughter, sister, bahu, sis-in-law, the ever loving, understanding and way above all other charactors in IPKKND. She has a brilliant, loving persona.
Daljeet, is proving to be a good actor, her expressions, performance is getting better, day by day but as Anjali, she is all confused, selfish, and adamant, etc.
It is high time, the truth is brought in front of the Raizada Family, Arnav and Anjali. Otherwise, Khushi will always be the scapegoat. Khushi must tell her side of the story right from the beginning, Fashion show. All her encounters with Shyam, how she as well as the family were duped. How she had to take Shyam into her confidence, so that the hiding place of Arnav could be revealed to her and NK, enabling her to rescue Arnav. How she eventually saved Arnav single handledly. Every single detail.😡

I guess their faults and strengths are the basis of their strong relation.. They complement and complete each other.. One makes up for others fault.. But they end up hurting each other..

Khushi always melts when people are nice to her or repentant even if fake... if u recall she forgave shyam when he tried the drama of killing himself...and here she is in love with ASR who has reciprocated her feelings... hence she will give in not instantaneously but within a short span of time..

True, they do end up hurting each other, but then again, they've also just entered this new phase of their relationship in which pain is inevitable. They're gradually starting to open up to one another, and will continue to do so, and it is when they grow in love that they'll be able to accept each other for who they are. At his point, they're well aware of each other's strengths and weaknesses, which is why guilt has also become paramount as part of their relationship - they're still learning to accept one another for who they are. Everything has happened so fast that they haven't had the chance to breathe and think about this new stage of their relationship and what that means for the future...

They are egoist in their own right.. cannot tolerate the other pointing out their flaws... result will always be strong verbal volleys
