I do not think all her post sympathize with Arnav and so what if it does. There are many who make post just on a character. Plus if I was in her place I would make post on characters I connect with and sympathize with.

😊 Ohh no problem if she sympathises!!! If she did not sympathise, the person in qestion wowuld not be an anti hero...he would have been a villain...which we know he isnt. And no problem if she , and I am guessing, you and thousands others as well , sympathises, because if you did not, the makers of this story would not have been able to capitalise on it...thats an age old psychology, and you guys are a normal public in sympathising with and justifying the anti hero.
I gave the example of the movie Deewar in my post ...because thats another anti hero movie, and the TM's request for justification is very similar to Amitabh Bacchan's dialogue "Jaao pehle us aadmi ka sign leke aao jisne mere haath mein likh diya thha ki mera baap chor hai" ...but the end justification to his character had to be given , he did have to pay for his sins...and that had no connection with what he has gone thru in the past, and how many people had wronged him in the past.
Its the eternal truth ...the essence of bhagwad geeta is again the same...when Arjun refused to shoot at his own people, Krishna said only one thing " Yes, they are your people , but they are on the wrong side"...and that held true for even the best of people like Bhishma Pitamah and Dronacharya ...they were good people , but they stood by the wrong... by saying all this, what I essentially mean net net is : Our own wrongdoings has no bearing with what others did to us. We need to be responsible for our own deeds and the decisions that we make ...no past or no external influence/ caracters can be held responsible for that.
In this case, Arnav Singh Raizada has to do only two things to be absolved of his sins : 1. Admit openly and publicly ( that means amongst both families) of his actions that he took from day one and ending in the sudden marriage ...clear her name.
2. Give his wife her due place ...and thats something he has already begun to do since the day he decided to turn back to her at the airport...and he has continued to do that till date.

People have always had this insane sympathy towards an anti hero ...well that's the psychology filmmakers who make such films capitalize on. All ur posts till date have been no different... It's always been laden blindly with love, sympathy for the anti hero ...added to it the absurd need to justify him. But the truth is , the person cannot be absolved of his sins because the public is able to sympathize with him and love him. It did not happen in deewar... It ll be unreal if it happens in this story.

When people sympathize with an anti hero, they don't justify the means, they simply understand the circumstances that lead to the means and by extension the product. And in most cases, the anti-hero feels the need to redeem themselves because at the end of the day, they do have a moral compass even when everyone around them are able to forgive and forget.

And if i read this post carefully, the TM never suggested that the anti-hero is beyond repentance...she just points out that there are others.

Every point of view leads to a good discussion.😃

I am responding to you first because I first saw this and even though you have written to me humiliating my thought process and sensibilities...especially in a very personal manner in the bold text above...
But dont worry, I will not behave in that same disrespectful fashion with you
because then what is the difference between you and me😊
Since you think I am absurd in my thinking and blinded in love of ASR so be it...thats your view of me and you are entitled to it
Would therefore comment only on the Deewar part...Dewaar was not about idolising the anti hero ...or sympathising with him
In fact...Salim Javed themseves have themed it as the good (Shashi) succeeding over the bad (Amit)
Deewar was only about choices one makes...both brothers went through the same upheveals ...but their thought processes were different
The movie simply highlighted the above...and that most people are not born criminals or bad...its the circumstances that make them...but they are after all still human😊

Not at all ... I did not write anything insulting ... its the spirit you want to take it in. You could either take it as an opposing opinion, which its is...or you could take it as a personal attack, which it is certainly not
Its your calll ... but I have followed your posts in a long time, and never wanted to reply to it...but they always had a pattern to it ...disregard of the contents of the episode. And God knows why , I just felt like waking out of my hibernation today , to reply to this post..
Again ...your call ...in what spirit you want to take my post...but let it be clear that my post is not to praise your post, neither to insult it ...but just to state that I have a different opinion and the reason why.

EDIT:
I agree...everyone needs to be shown a mirror. Some need to reflect more than the others. And just by the fact that some of us want that mirror for everyone doesn't necessarily mean that we are justifying the image that we see of ASR in the mirror. We are merely accepting that image as a part of him. At the end of the day, he will do what he needs to, to be able to look at himself in the mirror. And whether we like it or not, Khushi will be the one helping him to.
Jab miya biwi raazi, to phir humari kaisi narazgi??

The episode today, IMO, was a complete episode. Each person in character. (Please know, Gotti and I still have issues). Shyam at his slimiest best, demonstrating "offense is my best defense". Payal, the otherwise meek individual, stuttering truths unconvincingly in defense of her sister. Akash not having a role or say in any matter even when his wife is openly being slandered. Nani...i am not sure what i think of her character anymore. Mami - i have my money on her - she is taking everything in. Despite her obvious dislike for the gupta sisters, i have a feeling she may come through for them eventually. If not, i will blame it on my having issues with Gotti.
Anjali - at the onset I wanted to thwack her with her thali. But on further thought, she was spot on. An emotionally fragile woman whose carefully constructed bubble had just burst. She doesn't know what to think because such things don't happen in her bubble...err..world. Everything is always sabse achcha where she is concerned. I wrote this on Anu's post as well...i don't glee is upset about shyam as much as she is about facing/surviving a life outside of her bubble. Their (arnav and anjali) past has affected them such that he became a cynic and she oblivious. How they deal with this is going to be interesting.
ASR/Arnav - the slap..the dialogues were perfect. A slap on the face hurts more on one's ego than a beating, especially when u stand in front of people who revered you. Arnav let his wife take on the raavan herself while silently supporting her. He stepped in when called upon and delivered a verdict that they probably had discussed before coming in. The screenplay was dragged and a bit extreme but then Gotti and I have issues.
And he announced that Khushi and Anjali were the most important people in his life...correct...but we all know Khushi has become a bit more important than glee.

Love your take...but when do i not 😃
