Hey Sree... me too felt the slap was too late... yes i did see the expression of ASR which was of frustration when Shyam spoke abt K's character he is abt to vent out but sees his Di & stops his actions... whtever the reason IF it had to happen why didnt it happen before... it was too little too late for me... Khushi shdn't have gone thru tht abuse.. as though ASR abuse on bridge was nt enough.. thts Shyam's abuse was icing on the cake... 😕

Khushi try her best to frame Shyaam in front of family but he was to smart for that. They must have agreed that if Khushi could not get Shyaam committed than Arnav will come in when Khushi will turn towards Arvav help. And we know ASR is not to much of words just action and final decision maker.!!!!!

agree. Thats why I added a wait and watch clause. It could be a plan.

But Still the bad words should have ignited his anger more than anything and he should have slapped shyam right then and there. don't you think that is more apt for the scene even if there is a plan behind it? Why Cvs made him wait and added a plea from khushi in between?

People would have whistled more on the former scenario. Isn't it? I think an angry ASR would just do that rather than waiting for khushi to nudge him for action.

And they wanted to drag the whole slap fiasco till FridayLOL.

Exactly my point. Di and Khushi are not the two most important people in his life... It's Di and then Khushi is the most important people in his life.

One thing about Indian mentality about marriage always surprises me. They treat wives as less important than the rest of the family members, but husbands as the most important person than the rest of the world.

If you ask a wife, whom would you choose? Between your brother who is your life or your husband who is your love? she will say, I love my brother. But when I got married, I vowed to stand through thick and thin by my husband. So I will choose my husband.

I can bet you that if Anjali believes Shyam is right and he asks her to leave Shantivan with him, she will leave her darling chote in a heartbeat for her husband.

Now ask a husband the same question, whom would you choose? Your wife or your sister? His answer is my sister raised me and was with me since childhood. So I will choose her. My wife will understand the value of my sister in my life. So she will not mind.

When a husband and wife make the same vow during the same marriage ceremony, why is this different attitude towards each other? Why does one has to be understanding and the other has to be put before everyone else?

It pains for me to see wives being treated as possession without feelings with whom you can do anything whereas husbands are treated as God for whom you have to do everything.

A wife puts her husband's reputation, her husband's happiness in front of everyone else in her life. Why is then a husband can't do that?

Even in Indian mythology, Ram went to jungle, Sita left everything and went with her husband. She kept her vows she made to her life-partner. She left behind her father, her in-laws, her brother, her sisters cum sister-in-laws. All of them, who were as close to her heart as Arnav is to Anjali. But for her, her husband is her life-partner and thus she needed to be by his side in thick and thin.

However, Ram made Sita go to jungle because his people raised finger on his wife... Sita agreed to go. But, Ram did not leave with her. He did not keep his vows of standing by his life-partner through thick and thin. Yet, we worship Ram and give his example. If you ask me, I would rather have Bharat as a husband than Ram.

He was a better brother, better husband and a better man altogether.

Yeah i agree that i was tad disappointed with ASR's response.

But blame it on the CVs.

They wanted Payal, Kushi & NK to confess the complete truth, spill the beans bef the entire clan & hence they made ASR slap only at the end of the episode.

How else w'd PooJHAli & co know the true picture of shyam. So i had 2 grit my teeth & wade thru the episode praying for patience 😡

Yeah! The slap left me cold, coz Khushi had to ASK him to react! When he finally came towards her and Shyam, she was not even sure if he was coming to support HER or Shyam??
She looked Suprised when he slapped Shyam! ASR didnt react ALL that time, knowing Shyam was lying about loving Anjali and Khushi chasing him, and Gupta girls trapping them etc... ALL coz of Anjali! He just kept looking at Anjali, and threw Khushi under the bus!
TOTALLY dissapointed! If Khushi is HAPPY with these "Crumbs" that get thrown her way, then she can be my guest! But more fool HER I say! To ASR his SISTER and her "Abala Nari" status will always mean more than Khushi's self respect!😡
At least THAT is how it looked from where I was sitting! Same goes for Akash! He too was not reacting aganist "DI's" husband! Only people who had the guts to speak were NK and Manorama, besides the Gupta girls!
The whole thing was a Humiliating spectacle! I was TRULY gutted and really dissapointed! After THAT insult, Khushi and Payal should BOTH leave RM! There is no point being with men who dont respect and value you, and always put THEIR sister's "Abala Nari" acts, even above YOUR respect!
TRULY DISSAPOINTED!!

😆 The reaction was sweet, slap was nice. And throwing shyam out was even better. Finally ASR trusted khushi without any proof.

Just we have an opinion that it was delayed response. It would have been more powerful and would have the much required punch it the delay and pleading was not there. It would have been "whistle" scene.
