At 9:30pm
Arnav had just returned from office and was shocked to see the disheaveled state of the house. He went to his room only to find Khushi lying on the bed covered with a blanket. He quickly went to her and pulled her into his arms.
Arnav: What happened Khushi? What's wrong with you?
Khushi: Nothing Arnav. Its just a bit of fever.
Arnav: Its not just a bit of fever Khushi. You're body is boiling hot!
Khushi: No Arnav. Really I'm fi-
Arnav: Don't say you're fine! I can see Khushi that you're not. Why didn't you call me?
Khushi: It was just slight fever and I didn't want to bother you.
Arnav: Bother me? Since when have you started bothering me?(A bit angry)
Khushi: Arnav please don't fight with me now. I'm really not in the mood.(Tears escaping her eyes)
Arnav: Okay I'm sorry! But please don't cry! You know I hate it.
Khushi: Its okay.
Arnav: Did you take medicine?
Khushi: No.
Arnav: Okay let me get it for you.
Khushi: No! Don't go. Stay with me.
She kept her head on his lap. He was continuously caressing her hair.
Arnav: Just a minute Khushi. I'll get some juice and medicine for you.
Khushi: Nooo please don't go..
Arnav: Stop acting like a 2 year old jaan. Just wait for two minutes.
He got some juice and medicine for her
Arnav: Have this Khushi.
He helped her up. She was taking support on his shoulder. He made her have the juice and medicine,
Arnav: Feeling better?
Khushi: Hmm..
Arnav: Good! Now promise me one thing.
Khushi: What?
Arnav: You will not work tomorrow and only take rest. And whenever you feel sick again, you will call me immediately. Promise?
Khushi: Okay promise.
Arnav: Good! Now please go to sleep.
Khushi: But you also have to promise me something in return.
Arnav: What?
Khushi: You will never ever shout at me again.
Arnav: Okay. I will never ever shout at you in my life. Promise.
Khushi: Pinky promise?
She bought her pinky forward. Arnav entwined his pinky with hers and kissed it.
Arnav: Pinky promise!
Khushi turned a crimson red at this action of his.
Arnav: Its been two years since our wedding and still you blush like a newly wed!
Khushi: Stop teasing me.
Arnav: I can't really help it. That blush just makes too hot to handle!
And she again turned a crimson red at his words.
Khushi: Arnav! You're too much!
Arnav leaned down to kiss her lips only to be stopped by her.
Khushi: What are you doing?
Arnav: I'm playing cricket! Can't you see Khushi? I'm trying to kiss you!!
Khushi: I know that but you're forgetting something. I have fever!
Arnav: So what?
Khushi: What do you mean by so what? You'll get my infection.
Arnav: I don't care! My body is immune to all this. And even if I do fall sick, its okay coz I love being pampered by you!
Khushi: When will you grow up!?
Arnav: Look who's talking! Now shut up and let me concentrate!
And they ended up making love for the whole night!
