In this scene Anjali has getup of bride
So may be that person was someone whom anjali going to married
That shyaamu played some dirty trick that forced mom to suicide
then put blame on that guy and got married with her
may be this was the reason Anjali respect her so much.
I can say this coz when the truth come out that Payal first marriage was broken she said that she knows what a girl feels when she didn't get married on the day that was decided for her marriage and feel very regretted. This shows that the first guy was not Shyaamuu
