Geet, did you notice, on Friday Shyam said that he waited for Khushi for 6 months'. So does that mean ARHI's 6 month tenure is up?

no six months is not up but 5months over..its six months since khushi broke her engagement with shyam

@Bold Red: that is the reason for no marriage talks by Anjali. She would rather have Khushi out of the house than have Khushi inside the house. My point is here the marriage that you are saying can happen because Anjali might want it done to save her world. That wont happen if she wants to keep her married life safe and sound. She has seen that Arnav Khushi's marriage did not stop Shyam and Khushi - so getting them married again does not change a thing except giving them a public acceptance.

Hello Anna GM.😊.. To look at it from another angle... Anjali wants to save her marriage... and the process of saving it is by separating Shyam and Khushi.

1) Achieving effective separation of Khushi

Merely throwing Khushi out of RM will not suffice because it will be just bringing in distance between Shyam and Khushi with the scope of them reuniting again. Effective separation can only happen if Khushi is emotionally involved in another relationship where in she loses interest in Shyam and vice versa.

Khushi and Arnav already share a relationship through their existing marriage.Anjali knows that Khushi and Arnav had mutual feelings of love pre wedding and post wedding too she has seen Khushi' and Arnav's concern and love for each other during his low sugar attack. She is also aware to an extent Khushi's pangs of separation from Arnav during his Scotland trip. Anjali is also aware that thought the two have affection and concern for each other their is a problem in their married life.

When the forced marriage truth is out Anjali will try to rectify the mistake and smooth-en the existing marital relationship in the hope that once their problems are sorted out the couple will be happy with each other thus eliminating any feelings from Khushi's side for Shyam.

2) Achieving effective separation from Shyam

Giving her consent for this marriage also is a signal from her to Shyam that she is willing to look past his philandering ways and give their relationship a chance for her baby and the love they share. She is compromising on her feeling of hurt and being cheated by giving him another chance because Anjali still believes that Shyam does harbor a genuine affection for her. Shyam will try his level best to maintain in front of Anjali that he has been enticed by Khushi Giving her a perfect opportunity of telling him that a good way of stopping people from maligning his name by linking it with Khushi is Arhi remarriage.

Many women if they have a disability are pregnant with a child and in love with their spouse if faced with such a crisis instead of walking out on their husband will try to give their relationship a chance before taking the last recourse. Anjali is also doing the same...It is always harder to let go then letting in someone in your heart.😊

Logically an educated daughter from a rich business family would not tolerate a pauper 2 timing husband.Where as a middle class housewife with no independent financial support, pregnant , having a disability might give a 2nd chance to a husband like Shyam owing to the dictats of society which does not look kindly at her situation .

The burgeoning middle class is the primary audience of our soaps hence acceptance of Arhi marriage for saving her own will be acceptable and therefore plausible in the serial.

But how does that make sense? If you look at it that way, he has been waiting for her for a year or so- ever since he saw her in Lucknow.

see..before the sixmonths there was this hope that she was not married and could turn to him..so he was working on that .during the payal engagement period after te engagement broken..shyam did see atilt of khushi towards arnav..he was deluding himself otherwise and this was strengthened by the bhaang blabbering by khusi..now that has been broken and he feels that she will not come back..he was shouting at her
