I was so not gonna make a post today especially because the Forum was getting too savage!!
But this is for you Shass, and for all of my dear friends and visitors who want to know what really happened out there in today's episode!!!
You cannot believe how much I LOVED today's epi!!! I mean like seriously!! It was like rocking awesome.
At first, I was irked by how long Kushi was taking to get Shyam to sign but halfway through I understood why it seemed draggy. The "blind trust" of the Snake had to be built. he had to sign without looking and for that to happen there had to be on and off pulling and snatching of that red file!! And did you see how Kushi panicked when Shaym's alert always eyes read down the second page and was about to turn to the third page. She snatched it up just then!! And we understood at the end when he began signing that on the third page began the alerted WILL documents!!!
I so loved Mami!! I mean, at first I wondered how she could have just forgotten her building bond with Kushi and throw it away just like and run to inform Anjali against Kushi. Then I realized that this is Mami we are talking about. It took time and a lot of sacrifice to her pride for her to bond with Kushi. But what is very vital to her is her Anjali and Arnav. They are almost like her own children. Materialistic Mami had been even ready to give up all her jewels and wealth if Arnav could be released if paid, remember? And what a lot of pain to climb those million stairs and almost break her leg again with the strain she was giving it. But she didn't stop. Mami no longer believed in comfort and luxury. She was willing to take pain to reach the summit and save her niece.
Then Anjali. My, she blew my senses off. I was at the end of my chair, leaning forward at the edge as i watched her expressions. She was so realistic!! SOOO REALISTIC!!! Loved her like anything!! Her happy world is made of clouds and ice-creams and she can not even imagine a black rainbow in it. She laughs and takes Mami's revelation as a joke. She sounded almost delusional, and i half-thought she had cracked! Very realistic. Remember how when she had that car accident and that tripping off the stairs because of grease on the rail, remember how flustered and panicked her reaction was. Anjali is easily scared. So it shows how she reacted to such a big blast in a delusionally hysterical way! She feels the matter is more grave only when she sees the always serious or happy Mami, red in face and almost in tears...
The music that began when Mami was about to tell it to Anjali, Anjali's hesitant laugh when Mami had said it, and the way the wind stopped and no music played... Breathtakingly awesome editing!!! I mean, just as Mami said it, and the wind just inhaled itself, it was as if Anjali's heart stopped beating and all of us viewers were also silent and without breathing, staring at her...I could really feel the wind around me stop. I felt the scene and had goosebumps on my arms!! really awesome effects!!! And the way the scenes kept shifting from signing divorce papers and telling the truth. When Shyam took the pen and began signing each paper, Anjali was hearing the truth from Mami's mouth one by one. And then Anjali's typical happy-attitude:Oh, were they talking of divorce? Who Kushi? Was that what she said? Its okay...But I'm sure my Shyamji would have said no. What did he say Mami?
Crash. Blast. Boom. Bang! I don't what to say. But I was jumping in my chair as I watched it for I knew. I knew this is where it begins.
And the big question remains. What we saw today was the first reaction of Anjali. How will she react when she's sane and recollected after that first shock? When she reaches home, and has to stand before Kushi or Shyam...what will she do?
EDITED: Another point I so wanted to add. When they showed Anjali at the Temple, I was wondering why there? Each time Mami began telling her something, it was the bells that tolled to interrupt, so it must have been some kind of a sign. I can't quite put my finger on it but I can say one thing. DeviMayya has two dedicated devotees: Kushi and Anjali. And this goddess is watching over them...she has made them sisters and I am certain will want them to remain as sisters. The goddess is a with Kushi. The goddess is with Kushi. It for the good of both of them that all what is happening is happening. And I'm so glad Mami even said "Jai DeviMayya" to self-boost herself, the clarion call of Kushi Kumari Gupta herself. So once again, a sign that the bond is underneath alive and throbbing?
Did you see the TRP? We need something to move it. Romance and Hot dialogues won't. WE need drama. We need a struggle to love. We need spice and sparkles. We need a HAPPENING.There should be a passion in love and for that passion we need something to try and make it hard to be expressed openly again...but it won't be broken of course, ArHi has come this far. . And they are so much in love that I don't think Arnav will be blind to trust all her hears against Kushi again. he will have a valid good reaction to this development. So how will Arnav react to this? How will Kushi take in the news that all is in the light? How is Shyam gonna slip out of his web of lies? And then there is NK!! He has gotta have some potency in his role!!
I see a lot of scope for character refinement and rocketing drama lines with passionate love in this track... Things are gonna happen!! Things we have all been waiting for so long...behind this smoke is a great beginning, and I've my bags packed and I tell you: I'm going with this show till its end.
EDITED: This is something I wrote in response to "garlic"'s comment on Page 5, and thought I might put it in the front for the rest of you to read and understand.
TRP is what decides how the show proceeds. And sometimes to suit an actor's absences or demands (because she feels she was not approached to sign for this and that she is being cheated upon if what the producers preached is not practiced) a lot must be scratched and rewritten. But one thing remains, the show is about ArHi. A show where they need to unite. Like Ouma and Asma said, we hav known all along frm the beginning of the show, from the time Shyam was revealed to be Anjali's husband and from the time we saw the budding love ArHi and the strengthening bond of Arnav-Anjali...we knew the time will come when Arnav will have to choose. It is this time that makes all the difference. So you see, in a feat to suit Daljeet and to fire up the TRP, the CVs have decided to stop playing games and get to business. They have deicded its time to get the show back on track. To get the story moving. What they ahd been avoided showing all this time, is about to be shown. The story is picking itself up again and we are going to start from where we broke of. ArHi, no matter how things around them end up, WILL FINALLY PUT THE CURTAIN ON THE SHOW IN EACH OTHER'S ARMS. NO denying that!!
All I can say is spread the positivity around because I love ArHi and the show!! And I'm so ready for this new track!!! Here I come!!!
