And there the CVs threw a bomb on us today ! 🤣 Good one creatives ! 👏
The episode started with Khushi making her final move on Shyam ! The talaq word is out once again... and again overheard by another Raizada family member... and again misunderstood... but this time, both sides were heard ! What a difference that would make in the future ! Slowly, Shyam's true face is being revealed to the family members... one at a time.
Manorama Maami... How I've started loving this character day by day ! She is an honest, straight-forward person who protects her children like a mother hen ! She was restless until she told Anjali the truth... and tell her, she did... that too in front of Devi Maiyya... with her blessings, all will turn out well in the end. DM will make sure of that.
Anjali's reaction to the news I could not understand... she laughed it off first, and then the confusion... I'm not sure what Daljeet wanted to portray... We'll probably know more by tomorrow ! Although I loved the fact that she was first worried about Arnav, then for Shyam. Subtle hint, for future track.
Khushi... The one with a mission to save her hubby... she will go to any length, choose any path to rescue her husband and redeem her mistakes. Many people are asking what is the need of the will now... when Shyam doesn't have anything.. or if Arnav dies under mysterious circumstances, nothing will come to Shyam... but then, does Khushi know that?? No, she doesn't.
- She doesn't know that there is a problem with the will that she made Arnav sign.
- She thinks, because of her stupidity, he is kidnapped and if something happens to him, all the money will go to Shyam.
- She wants to correct her mistake, and transfer all the money to the rightful owner, in case something happens to Arnav - and that person is Anjali, not her - his wife who legally should be the sole heir.
- She still has no clue, how she will find Arnav... whether she will be able to find him, therefore she wants to do what is right in worst case scenarios !
Both Maami and Khushi were justifiable in their actions today. Hopefully, CV's have something up their sleeves for tomorrow as we didn't get to see a precap ! Waiting for another mind-blowing episode tomorrow !
Pointers:
1. What is ASR... a Star Plus bahu or an abla naari (Thanks Anna, for the title), that his wife has to come and rescue him. Isn't he supposed to be the Mighty Arnav Singh Raizada? It just doesn't go with his character ! Now he is suddenly in character, after 20 days of captivity... and what does he say.. Main to bhaagne waala hun !!! Chhota bachcha hai, jo bhaag jayega? The mighty ASR should've said... Main to yahan se nikalne waala hun, try and stop me --> Would've suited his character more.
2. Shyamu... tu to gaya !Arnav, Anjali, Khushi, NK sab ek taraf... Maami ke haath se kaise bachega, soch ! Abhaas, good job once again !
3. NK.. the guiding light. Ever shining, ever bright... always there. Loving his character. Khushi's partner in crime... her alibi !
4. It's been, almost a week... and the elastic is just getting bigger and bigger... I just hope the CVs don't stretch it so much that it breaks down ! I'm sure, they must be much more worried about the TRPs than we are... for them it's their bread and butter... for us, it's just entertainment ! If we stop getting this entertainment from here, we'll move on to the next thing !
Special Note to CVs:What a wasted marketing / promotional opportunity, my dear CVs'
The story and script are tight... but the execution... pathetic, if I may say !!! I will not go in to technicalities... as I'm not an expert ! But yeah... they could've worked wonders with some better promotional skills:
What they did:
1. When they released the spoiler to SBB/SBS segments for the 1st hug of the lead pair in one year... they very well knew their viewers were desperately waiting for it. What did they do... they released spoilers with Body Doubles. The Effect: Viewers got put off !
2. Now after the first blooper, probably they realized their mistake of releasing the spoiler with BDs, they made Barun and Sanaya Hug it out this time... they released a spoiler again through the same channels, what did we get... we heard your lead actor saying on camera, oh we just shot it 15 days ago, they could've used the same segment !😕 The Effect: Nil... it was like repeat telecast... even the dress she wore, was the same !
What they could've done:
1. Instead of Khushi screaming Arnav ji Arnav ji and running to hug him... they could've shown ASR calmly, in truly ASR style saying those dialogs to his Kidnappers "I'm leaving tomorrow by sunset, try and stop me" !!! The Effect: Oh the girlies and the aunties alike would've sat in front of their TVs waiting with baited breath to see their beloved hero do some dhishum dhishum with the kidnappers. TRP would've rocked ! That would've been a Sixer !
2. The most path breaking truth that has been hidden so far from Anjali, the crux of the whole story - she is about to hear the ugly truth -- Will she hear it? Will Maami tell her? If yes, what will be her reaction? --- you get the drift... The Effect: This could've been a brilliant promo to increase your range of viewers. Ta da... back on top with TRP' the suspense, the drama, the emotions' everything is there ! And the ball would fly out of the stadium !
