Sandya, I just rewatched and have expressed my views. I know the lip sync part...I think he is trying to see him through Khushi's imagination. But, I am sure there will be no MU.

Nebuna ... this is a dream sequence .. the one place a person can let their imagination go wild ... ( for me its being president of India for 2 terms) ...

in a dream .. that too a song ... there can't be hidden meanings given to viewers ... its make belief .. u already know its not real ... shudnt it have been ...that the way it started with a hot clinch ... is the way the song should've progressed ... it should've progressed as a hot song ... through out ...

Now u see the sequence again .. the song ends with Khushi going away ... if ASR has reached out to Khushi & called her name then ... then ur theory would make sense of fear of separation ... but the scene was shot ... ASR comes out of his revere & looks around for Khushi ... when he doesn't find her around he calls out to her .. indicating in his dreams they were together & now once he is out of it he misses her '

OK OK ... too much gyaan 😉

that song def had hidden meanings
souls are united plus soul which is reflecting his heart to an extent
when we read a book they write to explain their feeling same here
they are showing his mind or soul through a song or dream
dream because he s kidnapped or alse it would def be a song
thats what i understood but might differ for many

I am not questioning the song sequence per say but if at all they wanted to use it .. Then justify it with some good monologues.. Then do a good jod with direction .. Emotion portrayal.. Looks of the artist(bs here).. And make it so wrenching that u feel the tadap of separation..

Priya very nice POV.. he definitely is missing her like hell... Its his first experience with love and that too for him to feel the way he feels. its very overwhelming because he had locked that for a good 15 yrs or so.. ANd suddenly she has opened that lock. And this is the first time they are away from each other.. It has made him realize his deep rooted love for her..

So he is dreaming about it.. So the Teri Meri song absolutely made sense as he had danced with her on this..That must be his thinking..
