🤔I don't understand why she's leaving frankly!

Any actor wants a) a good role in which she's visible and liked and b) be part of a good product. I don't know what Daljeet's ambitions are but Anjali is a fabulous character and one she has done great justice to. 👏 I can't see that it's so dissatisfactory a role that she needs to quit halfway!

IPK is a wonderfully well made series - it has made such a huge connect with the audience and frankly, it's quite a phenomenon. So what is she quitting for? 😕

Even as lead in another project, it may not be possible for her to make as much of an impact as she has now. It's counter intuitive but it's nevertheless very true. Yes, it'll be flattering to play lead but will she be as memorable? Not every production team has the talent this one has. 🤓

Besides, IPK is a plot based series. It has a definite beginning, middle and an end. Eventually we're going to get to the end of this series - and going by current averages, it'll be a year more or maybe if everyone is doing ok, a few months longer. DJ is young, surely she can get another role after that? Why throw away the bird in hand for a sound in the bush? 😲🤔

Anyway, having said all that - purely her choice, of course. If she wants to leave, good luck👍🏼. and I hope the replacement is as good!😛

Well Seriously what was she expecting ? To be the lead ? Come on...

If she is quiting i don't mind because Anjali character has a lot to show in the coming episode...so any good actress can do justice to it.

If she is quiting i hope cv's ask Divyanka Tripathi to be Anjali because she was the first choice.

I agree CV's are overworking there leads way too much. They should create tracks and storyline between other cast members as well. I don't think Abhas will quit at all because he won awards and nominations for his role but the rest are just fillers expect for Mamiji.

Wish CV's had done more to develop this character. I think us fans always felt that.

Hope she has made the right choice, unlike Goopie, who is shown to be crying about how much she misses her show etc. New shows are not always dependable - like her hubby's show that's scheduled to go off air just after a few months.

IPK is a sure winner. Even if not the lead, she still is a parallel lead of one of most talked about shows there is.

Hope she reconsiders.

she thought she will be the main lead?😆 i agree her character didnt have a quiet progress but now it was her time i mean her character Anjali's time! anyways all the best to Daljeet! hope they replace her with someone fabulous.. close to Daljeet at least! and her replacement wont affect the TRP as fer i think cause people watch the show because of SaRun/ArHi😊..

As stated in the article the source reveals that her her role was altered from what was originally narrated to her. She may have had a metier role equal to the leads before the title change. So I can understand her disappointment.

Moreover, we saw how much screen space she got compared to other characters while we were moaning of the lead stars looking tired due to overwork. 😃

PH brought in child artists, Masala maama when they could have given more screen space to developing the existent characters. Her character is one of the pivotal characters of the show because ASR;s life revolves around her. But today, she has been reduced to a few scenes here and there.

We don;t know the future plot of the serial to say that her character will have the potential for histrionics. I am sure as we are, she too is tired of being portrayed as a abhala naari 😃 There's no harm if she wants to essay the role of a lead in another serial. It is totally up to her to experiment and test the waters.
