So lets talk Shesh nag urf snakewa urf Shyam bitwa today : The villain in any serial has to be the clay character .. moldable according to the need of the script .. The success to any story IMO is the crafting of the villain ' Just like Sholay is Sholay not because of Jai & Veeru but because of Gabbar ' similarly .. our villain in IPK ( please note I am not comparing him to the iconic Gabbar at all) has to be multi dimensional .. has to be hated & has to be abhorred ( not to be read as Abhaas)

Shyam as we know him ' has been portrayed as :

->Greedy

->Dishonest

->Coward ( today too he dint let ASR see his identity)

-> Can go to any extreme to get his way

-> A parasite... a man who wants to grow by living off others

-> Lethal because his evilness is hidden under the shroud of sweet talk

->Capable of cold blooded murder ...

Redwine (sorry, don't know ur name) enjoyed your post very much. It was a bhunderphool (too much mamiji's influence these days) perception about Shyam. But, i also find that his character wasn't shown with consistency. It went up and down. At times he was shown very much like a fool and at other times someone who's capabale of murder. In one epi it was all about lusting after Khushi and then suddenly out of the blue that took a back seat and it became greed for money. But if he's a parasite, why worry about taking money from wife and why rage against saale sahab for cutting off his money? Isn't he already dependent on his wife's money. Perhaps, he doesn't like others to take a jibe at him, which the credit card guys did. Maybe that was the reason for the rage against Arnav. I think a lot of layers have to be peeled off of this character, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

You seem to understand the lighting and other issues so much. I have no clue about such things unless it's obvious when i'm watching i.e. i'm not very observant😊. Do you have some kind of background in such things? This is just out of curiosity and nothing else.
