Riya, I don't have any qualms with ASR's redemption/repentance. But I always wanted to see him punishing himself, so much so, that even the sight of Khushi makes him feel guilty, so much so that he wouldn't be able to look her in the eye. And then she could have brought him out of the personal hell he had created for himself, coaxing him to stop hating himself, telling him that she understood where he was coming from..Telling him that she did feel bad when he thought the worst of her, but she still wants him in her life.

Nani did say that Arnav punishes himself when he wrongs his loved ones..

But all this mistrusting Khushi yet again, sending her to jail, Khushi playing hard to get, ASR grovelling at her feet, this is so cliched.🤢
