You know what's strange right now? What's strange right now is Arnav's words to Khushi coming true. Which words? The words, "Tum har kaam khud nahi kar sakti ho Khushi!"She went after the kidnapper on her own, it lead her to him, they escaped but only to get captured again. Well, Khushi didn't get captured again because of Arnav hiding her from the goondas, but he did.Where has that left her now? In Maamiji's care and under her guidance. She has help, support and guidance now. "Har kaam woh khud nahi kar sakti hai!" I liked the positioning when Khushi is lying to Anjali about Arnav's call. Khushi-Shyam-Anjali form a triangle there, but behind Khushi, over her right shoulder is Maami - standing there like a guardian angel, or as DB says, 7th Angel.Like everyone else, I too absolutely loved Maami today! You'll probably read enough posts about her, so won't gush about her here, though I may just skim the main points of her character and some of her words.Maami is so wrapped up with Arnav and Khushi's dilemma that she has almost forgotten about her own son Aakash and her bahu Payal! Haven't seen her interacting with them for quite some time. Speaks volumes about how concerned she is about Arnav, he's like a second son to her. She has seen how worried and agitated Khushi is regarding this matter, and we get to see the kind soft-hearted yet steely side of her as she comforts Khushi.Once again she tells Khushi not to get emotional, to not shed tears but to instead take care of oneself. Brilliant advice! When you travel in an airplane, the instruction given is to first put the oxygen mask over oneself and only then attend to your neighbours. The logic is that if you don't save yourself, or take care of yourself, how are you going to save the others? You need to breathe; you need the air to keep yourself alive if you want to help others. This is the same advice Maami gives Khushi - take care of yourself, and we will find Arnav, keep yourself collected and we'll be able to find a way to him, compose yourself first if you want to take steps to getting Arnav back.Khushi now has Maami with her, and will soon have her old friend NK by her side too to help her find Arnav! (I normally don't venture guesses over pre-caps, but couldn't help it this time). Totally excited about NK's return!!What I loved was that the firefly theme was followed today through Maami. Read yesterday that the US version showed 'three' fireflies, while the Indian telecast showed just one! Anyway, three or one, couldn't help seeing Maami as one of the fireflies today.Remember what we noted yesterday about fireflies? Their qualities are: Illumination, guidance, hope, energy' Doesn't Maami fit these qualities?
Maami was about to tell the truth about Arnav to the family today, and she surely would have if Khushi hadn't arrived right then and diverted her talk. We all saw how affected Anjali got by the mere mention of Arnav's name. Maami was still ready to disclose the truth, but not Khushi!
This just took me back to the day Khushi decided to tell Anjali the truth about Shyam but then chose to hold her silence after seeing Anjali hyper-anxious about her mangalsutra falling. Shyam was there then (the matter revolved around him) and Shyam was there now. However, this time, though Khushi maintains silence over the truth, she has Maami to have her back, along with Payal standing at a bit of a distance. (I'm still unsure about Maami's character, she does understand emotions, but she is more practical like ASR. Payal will anyway stand by Khushi, it is Maami who may support Khushi only when Arnav is absent, once he is back, will she move over to him?) 🤔Maami will be the one to illuminate the rest of the family about the truth. Since she is involved in this matter, she will of course stumble upon some truth. She will wait however before letting it out. It is only when she feels completely sure that it is the right time to speak that she will voice it out.In a remarkable way, Maami will be Khushi's guiding star/angel. She has already helped her with the CCTV footage, she guided her then to the office from which it was possible for Khushi to reach and meet Arnav. This time too, her brainy brains will come up with something to show Khushi the way. Besides that, her constant advice to Khushi about controlling the emotions will work in Khushi's favour if Khushi implements that advice!Maami is a steady flame of hope for Khushi. Her determination to beat the goondas at their game, say 'bye, bye' to them and get Arnav back is nothing short of a huge motivational factor for Khushi. Her concern and worry is kept in check as she thinks about the whole situation. Her reassuring hand on Khushi's shoulder, her hesitating yet warm pat when Khushi weeps in her arms is a soothing balm for Khushi - that she has someone by her side, to help, and to guide. A hope that together they can find Arnavji. This very hope is what will spur them into action. We have already seen them exhibiting their physical activity and mental activity skills. Maami seems to be the more active one, and will certainly lead the plan of action to retrieve Arnav from the goondas clutches!TRIANGLE: KHUSHI-SHYAM-ANJALIOkay, that was about Maami' moving on to the triangle of Khushi-Shyam-Anjali, oh how I wish Tants were here to shed some light on the triangle. 🤓
Khushi is busy reassuring Anjali about Arnav after hearing Anjali's worried rants and pouts about Arnav forgetting about her. Shyam is present between them while each of them (Khushi-Anjali) are bound to the same person - Arnav. What struck me was, how both women ignore Shyam and focus on Arnav (who isn't even present there!). Shyam keeps butting in but he doesn't get much except a few seconds glance from Rani Sahiba. Rani Sahiba and Khushi are busy thinking only about Chotte and Arnavji. Shyam just seemed like an outsider in that scene. Khushi and Anjali facing each other, Shyam at the apex, but just a temporary apex as Arnav is the invisible factor binding the two women, and existing between them. I swear I could almost see Arnav standing in line with the two women right between them!
Come what may, let Shyam do all he can to burn people down and mess with their lives, his power over these two women won't last long while Arnav is there holding them together. The two women of Arnav's life who mean the world to him. The bond between Anjali-Arnav and Khushi-Arnav are not going to break so easily. Shyam can only look on as an outsider, but it is Arnav who will keep Anjali and Khushi in his life no matter what!Besides that there were a few lines that caught my attention. Won't be going into 24 hours as DB had mentioned it in a previous post of hers, and might talk about it in her post today too. Will just cover the ones that had hints:1. Apna haath dho rahi hai + kapde gande hue:In English, we have the phrase "washing your hands off the matter" - now that doesn't sit well if you apply it to Khushi, but if you apply it to Shyam - then it's a perfect fit. Shyam is a slimeball who will take any opportunity to wash his hands off suspicion. I might be wrong because, washing of hands also means cleaning yourself of dirt on you. Combined with 'kapde gande hue' it gives us the Social Stigma that DB has talked about. I don't know what kind of social stigma Khushi is going to face, but evidently it will be caused by Shyam, who will wash his hands off this matter ' he'll rub off suspicion towards him with his smooth-talk.2.Chot nahi lagi' kapde gande hue' kapde badal ke aati hoon:I just can't get ASR's dialogue out of my head when this 'kapde gande hue' talk came up. His line was that clothes make a man! (Sorry, can't remember the exact words) 'Kapde insaan ko banata hai' and with Khushi's kapde getting gande, all I could get was that her character will be maligned, but then she says 'hume chot nahi lagi' - can it be that when questions are raised about her, or when the social stigma against her happens, she will believe in the man she loves, she will have faith that he will get her out of this mess, being Khushi I wouldn't be surprised if she herself faces society bravely - but Arnav will be the backbone of her bravery and strength! It all really depends on what the social stigma is, if it's the six month marriage clause that Shyam lets out, then Khushi will say 'chot nahi lagi' since her love for Arnav will simply overshadow the stain cast on her.3. RM main paani ka paband: Water - we all know by now the significance of water. Purity, cleansing medium, life-giver, sustainer of life' To me, water represents the truth about Shyam, and this truth may not be revealed immediately to the RM members. Also, I couldn't help thinking of Shyam himself, the 'scum', the 'dirt' present in RM. Water is used to cleanse, to wash away the dirt, but this statement seems to hint that, Shyam won't be removed from the house immediately once his truth is out. Paband means a 'limit', or 'up to a point'. He will be given a chance to stick around, and the scumbag won't be washed away from RM for some time. So, Shyam will get a slight stay-on at RM, but till when, well, that DB can tell you! 😊THINGS I LIKEDGoes without saying - Maamiji!! I like the way this show unravels layers of qualities behind each character. Not one character has been flat till now (well apart from all the OP's, JP's, and HP's), which is a pure delight for people like me who love seeing different sides to a character. Also like the fact that we shouldn't judge a person before knowing them completely. Maamiji has comes across as manipulative, gold-lover, materialistic woman - words that carry a pejorative feel. However, the recent episodes show that there is much more to this woman. For one, she has freakin' awesome brains that I would love to borrow any day! It's nice to see her connect the dots behind Khushi's absence today. Simply marvellous ' I'm telling you, ASR's thinking was influenced by Maami! 😛Khushi-Maami (Manoshi/Manshi) - I have no idea what other short-forms have been made for these two! Chaapals and tomatoes are welcome when I say "I liked today's episode better than yesterday's!" Yesterday's was good, but today had an extra zing! to it' Maami rushing immediately to Khushi and asking if she was okay was adorable! Plus, Khushi smiling in an understanding way when she sees Maami saving her from Naani's question about her dress getting dirty was simply sweet! Loved the whole Maami worrying about Khushi, and their bonding increasing!Another witness to Khushi's love for Arnav - Maamiji! Anjali-Naani and now Maami, who is next? NK??? 😃Was I super-glad to see Shyam!! And was it me, or did Shyam look extra handsome today? Blush, blush' ☺️Oh, this is not what I 'love' but Khushi and Maami should use those new grey cells of theirs and wonder how the kidnappers could have possibly called yet again just as Khushi was about to spill the truth, and how would the goondas know if Khushi ever told the rest of the family members. Come one, it's an inside job, though we're still not sure who! Think Maami-Khushi, think!!Yeah, that's about it guys! Have more to say, but I'm sure the others will have almost similar points, so will stop here and say:Keep looking,And one day you will find,That what you were looking for,Was never yours and mine.It is simply there,Waiting for you to find,A simple piece of truth,That inside us you will find.
Nia 😊
