Performance
I wanted to put in a word for the CVs yesterday (29th May episode) for keeping sequences together. It was really nice to see a sequence end properly before another began. It has been making it easy to keep things together and connect dots!

(Finally Barun's hairdo today was more ASR than in the past few days, when he'd been resembling more his movie character - except for the stubble - than ASR. Thank you!)
Progress Points
1. Khushi follows Shyam and learns he's up to no good - but cannot link it to Arnav's kidnapping
2. Mami Jaan and Khushi find another trail of Bread crumbs that may lead to Arnav (this one might help too!)
3. Shyam is certain now that Khushi is up to something - though he is awed that she dared to follow him - GO GIRL!!
4. Arnav has broken his bonds - yes, that is cool! But what is COOL-er is the sequence of events that has led to this.
Favorite Scene
There are two actually:
1. Khushi risking it all for Arnav
2. Arnav breaking his bonds following his dream -> regret regarding Khushi
They are racing towards each other.
Arnav & Khushi
1. Khushi has forgotten everything else and focused all her senses to find Arnav. Everything she is doing, is only in the direction of finding Arnav. She has taken it upon herself to follow Shyam at night and risk getting caught.
Even when she was caught, Khushi remained so focused that she did not drop any hints about knowing of Arnav's kidnapping. In fact, she managed to cook up the story about being suspicious about the papers and telling Arnav the whole truth when he returned.
2. Following the dream where he saw Khushi and feeling deep regret, it seems Arnav has been moved to free himself. He hasn't attempted an escape for five days (which perhaps may be because he was surrounded by 4 men). However, there is a newfound determination in him. He is focused on getting out of there.
Arnav played possum rather well while the men decided among themselves that they'd leave and one of them would be in charge for the night. He sat cutting the ropes behind the chair (though, with what I'm not sure).
The kidnapper looked uncertain and checked Arnav twice before taking his call.
Arnav looked like he was gonna rip the man apart! Finally, after constant tussle, the ropes weakened and ASR is free!
Point to be noted - He cut his bonds himself!!
That is true, no one can free Arnav as completely as Arnav can.
Mission: Find Mr. Impossible
1. Khushi prepares to follow Shyam and has a brilliant brainwave - she takes off bangles and payal.
She follows him at a distance, though it seems Shyam senses someone following.
2. Khushi sees Shyam angry and giving some men 5 lacs. She waits till Shyam enters the building, and peeks inside the window. She sees shyam manhandling and questioning a man about something he wanted him to do which he hadn't done.
She falls off the plastic carton she was standing on, and Shyam hears it.
3. Khushi runs followed by Shyam's men. Woah! Did that man have a Tommy gun!?
She runs out of breath and enters an open shop – closes the shutters, and waits. When she sees the men have gone, she comes out of her hiding only to be caught by the men and brought to Shyam.
4. Shyam questions Khushi about being there and Khushi decides not to reveal anything about Arnav being kidnapped. Instead, she makes up a story about being suspicious about the papers and following him to find out.
Shyam lies the man he was questioning to be a contractor whom he'd given the contract for building his house (His and Anjali's house), and he wanted to give Anjali a surprise.
Shyam also tells her that he's been noticing that she's been upset. Khushi denies giving him an explanation and warns him that when Arnav is back, she would tell him the truth about the papers, to which Shyam counters that he would also tell Arnav the truth just as he has promised.
CREEP!!
5. Khushi goes back home. Though, she does not tell him why she followed him, it seems that Shyam suspects.
6. At home Khushi wonders if Shyam is telling the truth about papers, then probably a business rival could have kidnapped Arnav. Strange, that whenever Shyam mentions Anjali, Khushi seems to trust him.
7. Mami Jaan comes looking for Khushi and she asks her about where she was - Khushi obviously cannot reveal where she was and she dodges her question.
Mami Jaan and Khushi compare notes and it seems they've run into a dead end.
8. A package for Arnav arrives, and Mami Jaan and Khushi are apprehensive to receive it. Anjali sees them troubled and receives the package. She tells them that they're Arnav's medicines, which she orders every three months as they are not available in most shops and cannot be obtained without prescription.
Anjali hands over Arnav's meds to Khushi, telling her that she should be taking care of this for Arnav now.
9. Mami Jaan tells Khushi to - "Phaalojh me!"
Mami Jaan and Khushi rationalize that Arnav's medicines may have finished. Khushi is worried, but Mami Jaan consoles her that the kidnappers have captured Arnav was a reason and till they get what they want, they will not harm Arnav. This makes sense to Khushi and Mami Jaan searches the internet for chemist where these medicines are found.
Khushi opts to go to all shops, but Mami Jaan advises: "Dibhide and rulj."
They share the shops and leave.
Khushi thanks Mami Jaan for her co-operation, and Mami Jaan clarifies that she is doing it for Arnav bitwa.
10. Mami investigates - Survey karat hain dilli main kitne log diabetic hain.
11. Khushi asks, pleads and even steals information.
12. Hopefully this line of breadcrumbs would not lead to a dead-end. The kidnapper gave Arnav the special medicine for diabetes.
Others
1. Crikey! The man in specs looks more like a serial killer than a goon!
2. Khushi told Shyam the story about being suspicious about the papers. However, did Shyam buy it? Yet to be seen!
3. Am Loving the Mami Jaan and Khushi bonding scenes. Reminds me of Mami Jaan changing sides around the stage to come and dance with Khushi and Khushi matching Mami Jaan's steps - just before the Heer-Ranjha performance (for more reason than just the Mami-Khushi dance. This current sequence seems kinda closely knit with the Heer-Ranjha sequence.)
4. Am glad that others are being kept out of focus (generally busy elsewhere, such as Payash going on a date) while focus remains on key matter at hand
5. Masala Mama missing still! Is he kidnapped too?
On the Lighter Side
1. It was horrendous to see three fat losers running after Khushi!
2. Shyam's expression when he sees Khushi stand in his so-called hideout. It may be his only What the--! moment.
3. The kidnapper had done better to tie ASR's hands on the chairs arms where he could see them. I suspect he tied them behind the chair, only so ASR could cut himself free. Brilliant!
4. Why is there mist in the night? In May? In Delhi? Unless it is a heat wave and earth, trees, buildings, and cars are evaporating!
