Shalu the bhalu ?!?!?!? I haven't heard that one before😉
What a fantastic post, Shalu!! You know my tamaatar brain too well to know that I ditto everything you say. I have been hibernating myself so this is my golden chance to "pen down" my thoughts😃
1. Despite the fact that we got three months of toing toing nothing, the story is back on track. People can blame the pace to sudden situations, but the fact remains that the script, story, screenplay, editing ...everything has been on track since the terrace confrontation. We miss Barun on screen (u know how much), but that has been handled well within the current sequence, methinks. Der aaye durust aaye, methinks.
2. I may have a different opinion about Gotti and his "disclaimatory" speech, but i am happy that we are talking. They have heard us and we have heard them. Now, lets move on. We are fans, we love this show...feedback (some call it criticism) is our right and our privilege.
3. Arnav meant it. Khushi doesn't doubt it. And that is all that matters. I am convinced to the "t" in the tamaater, that it was his ranjha moment. All that matters in the end (and i believe, he thinks it is the end) is that he loves her.
4. Khushi's POV has been beautifully showcased in the last few episodes. Separation was a must. They would have handled it differently had barun not gone on leave, but separation would have been a part of the screenplay to bring about Khushi's realization. What I have loved about this sequence
a) She FB's on all the good memories of him before she is about to jump off of the terrace. In the end, that was all that mattered.
b) She understands his hatred. Despite having every reason to walk away from this man who has falsely accused her of adultery, she chooses to stick around to prove her innocence. Only because it is about him. Aap ki baat hai is liye farak padta hai. Instead of becoming an adversary, she chooses to become his ally. This is the strength of her character.
c) Her monologue (with tu hi bataa mere maula playing in bg) was epic. Despite all the nafrat, all the mistreatment, she cannot ignore the bond that has been forged. She goes a step further and acknowledges it.
d) She hears his say ILU...and she flashes back to all the farak padta hai's left in mid sentence. She realizes he has loved her all along.
e) Finally, her monologue that helps her realize that he is in some kind of grave danger. She doesn't doubt his confession but she has started to doubt his cirumstances. She knows him well enough to know that he wouldn't say those words considering their current relationship unless his life is in danger. Bravo!
CVs have closed all the loose ends as far as this one fan is concerned. So what if we have to endure PDA, maami band, et al to move the story forward. Like Sinnie said in her post, as long as we get 8 minutes of the story, we can tolerate the other 12 minutes of masala and masali.
5) another article/confirmation that Barun is not leaving and I will have to replace my dry wall.
Shalu ... thanks! hugs! hail tamaatar!
