As a writer of a popular show, you know you will have to learn to take accolades and brickbats. Let me ask you a question.

Pick the name of an Oscar winning Hollywood movie you loved, I mean absolutely loved. Tell me the name of the actors - Good you know them

Now tell me who the writer of the story was or the editor or the screenplay writer or the make-up man or the DOP or the music director was? No? See my point?

The popular accolades go to the faces that bring the show to public. And the critical accolades certainly go to the writers who make the show a masterpiece.

If you are forming your opinion based on the feedback from this forum, let me tell you right now - you are subjecting yourself to serious MISUNDERSTANDING - No I am not Joking. You are subjecting yourself to what in Cognitive Psychology they call Adverse Selection Bias (google it)

People take out their frustration by trashing the CVs, you know - Dil Ki Bhadas nikalna. Ask poor Shyam aka Abhaas Mehta how many brickbats he receives from this forum every day. (And to his credit - he stays unfazed!). Barun and Sanaya do not write the story, CVs/creatives/writers do. So when the viewers feel that the story does not work, they call you out on it.

We understand your entire team works hard and puts in long hours to bring this show to us. However, like any good business, you must evaluate your results, regroup, strategize and implement changes in response to poor results. There is no denying that the TRPs have fallen, the rankings have fallen, over the top comedy does not work, addition of characters needs to be better fleshed out, and Barun's hiatus was not planned well.

this is market place. Please do not create more PR mess for your team. We are your customers. Instead of antagonizing your customers, why don't you reach out to us with goodwill and humility and see how we open our hearts.

This sort of public reprimand of your viewers is highly puerile and uncalled for Gautam. (edit, it sounded like one, whether you intended it is a different matter)

Sorry man, I really like your sense of humor on most days but its not professional to complain to your customers about your woes EVER!! Its not how business is done.

So my sincere advise to you:-

1. Stop worrying about what this forum or any forum says about CVs.

2. Take the good ideas from various forums, use them to your advantage and create a good product and story line.

3. Reach out to your viewers with humility, build a good relationship with them. Don't antagonize them, don't patronize them and don't be condescending to them.

4. Lastly, worry about the TRPs not what people think of you.

Instead of whinging to us to try and guilt us into shutting up, my advice would be to sort the damn show out and make us. We're a very small sample of the audience and we're clearly still WATCHING the freaking show. We're not the problem as we're evidently not the ones responsible for dropping TRPs. You dropped from 2nd to 15th by yourself- we didn't start a campaign telling people to stop watching- you did when you dragged something which really didn't need dragging for THREE MONTHS, made Khushi behave like an absolute tit and also put her in those disgusting velvet anarkhalis...

So here's my advice to all of you, since, you know, you're so keen that everyone gets credit- writers, spot boys, directors, producers, actors, makeup artists EVERYONE...: Sit down, shut up and stop complaining. You do your job and give us a show, we'll do ours and tell you if we like it or not.

On the very first note plzz accept a very big thank you from my side Sir. I am a viewer of Television and a member of IF since a very long time now. But for the first time I am seeing The CVs having such a direct dialogue with the viewers. Kudos to you for this!!!

Personally, I am liking the current track of IPKKND. Earler also in many shows we have seen the leads to take breaks for a week or two. And honestly during those breaks the story and the serial used to get very dull and boring. But this is the first time that even when the lead is absent the story remains to be so gripping and exciting. I am very much satisfied with the current track and also with Barun's appearance in the show for two days a week. I think for 5 days if you are getting a good story along with two days of your favourite lead then the current track should not be so boring and also bashed so much.😕

And we do appreciate the efforts that are being put by you and your team. IPKKND is a team effort for sure...No serial is being pulled by actors only and believe me we know this fact well enough. IPKKND was/ is (to some extent) a well written and well scripted show.

I make it a point to watch the show regularly at 8 pm on Television only and I also do recommend the show to my friends and family😆. But all this hype , criticism abt the show & the Cvs is because of the recent TRP disaster. People are scared that if TRP continues to fall like this then the channel might pull it off air and they would not be able to watch it anymore. Considering the strong competitors IPKKND is having now at 8 pm slot its hard to achieve back the 4.2 trps. But i guess once IPKKND retains back its position among the top 5 or at least top 10 ...all this hype and negativity will diminish. .Hope both you and the viewers can see this happening in the coming month of june.

But yes, it was necessary because fans forget at times the thin line between emotions and the reality . We are justified when we dissect the script annd analyse - applaud or criticise - thats what viwers are supposed to and thats the nature of audience across mediums of Television or Cinema.

However on saying that - no one has the right to down play or sabbotage the hard work that the Team of Creatives put in - coz unlike the viewers who are just attached on 20 min entertainment basis - for the Team its the bread and butter and 20 mins is just a drop of water in that effort !!!

Thanksss for coming out and like you put "rant" about it, as you have all the right to it as its your "baby" - and not the audience - no one can be more emotionally attached than the Team which has conceived it !!!!

But then again - dont take to heart the negatives, as these fans who critcise are the ones who love it too - if people are talking : good or bad - that means they are attached and watching.

Again a thanks for having this Dialogue with us viewers - how I have been waiting for it since last two days - for me this post seems like a Birthday gift 😊

You guys are doing a brilliant job and no criticism can take away the success this show has brought !!!

Thanks to the entire team for entertaining us for every 20 mins and for leaving the fanworld with enough buzz for the next 23 hours 40 minutes !!!!

PS Only a piece of advice - concentrate more on the Product than the Consumers - if your script is solid, mouths will shut themselves - w dont want each episode to be exceptional - but we dont want the writer who can give us the award-worthy Khushi's love realisation or ASR's break down scene goof up on a track which couldnt deal with Child psychology !!!!

Yess experimenting with tracks keep happening - but you guys are way aboove such dumb tracks - dont discredit yourselves with such tracks the brilliant Talent pool you guys are !!! There can be lot of minor mature sub plots that can make the show exceptional !!!

Well, well, Mr. GH seems like you have taken the rants of people a little too negative. Understandable people can shower their love in a form of anger rant n all...but I am sure no one meant that only Sanaya and Barun are the trophy winners, they all mention Sanaya and Barun coz thats what they see on the screen. Its "read between the lines", if there was no behind the scene team, there was No ASR or Khushi or any other character. So I'd suggest take their comments constructively and not personally. They comment on the entire team, coz reality check...non-fictitious characters such as ASR and Khushi and other characters are product of the entire teams work. Take a chill pilll😊

As for the current track, the audience is lil calmed down coz they now know the drag of MU is due to Barun Sobti multi-tasking for IPK and his film. But honestly, the expectation of issues arising and resolving in a matter of few episodes is created by the CV, hence the viewers find this show different from others, coz the resolution of any problems is solved STAT (like in a real life situation). This MU track is going on forever now, and with the fact that now its getting more dragged due to other projects, I think the viewers have a limited patience. So if someone rants about the drag thats coz perhaps the patience has reached its maximum. Once again rants are not "hatred"...infact they are another form of showing appreciation to your team how much viewers are glued to this show.

Lastly, the entire filler track of Bubly was just crap (sorry). POrtraying a 9yr old as a negative character kills the innocence of a child. Hence many viewers were ticked off. I guess, like you said you guys are humans...this was a mistake on your part, which you ended on a positive note (viewers appreciated that too)...

Once again Mr. GH or any team member...no comment is personally directed to Khushi or ASR...dont forget Without the 4Lions team there was no IPK and if no IPK then no ASR/Khushi/other characters...so all hail and praises is actually going out for 4Lions for creating such wonderful shows...

The reason why viewers want "ALL LOVE TRACK"...coz there has been no show on Television where the love life of lead is going smooth and beautiful "perfect dreamy love story"...May be 4Lions can break this record and create a show with "perfect love story with no problem (like misunderstandings/hatred)" and quench viewers thirst.
