You know I do this for ya first, the show, second...Which reminds me: I need to talk to Morparia & Dimon, stat! 😉 I can only imagine what the FB debacle is doin to the queen & her king...ah, but this too shall pass (for both of ya!!! 😊)

Will discuss more on 'Arnav', both fictional & real...I've rarely discussed the metaphor & the significance of the name, but moving forward, it seems fitting!

I liked your unstructured Crooner, Priya. Your ode to your favorite songs was the highlight of your post for me! A very emotional epi in parts, it definitely helped move the script along. "Abhi na jaoo chod kar, ke dil abhi bhara nahi"...That gorgeous first pic in your Crooner with those timeless lyrics has now become my anthem for ArHi, and it set the stage for Khushi's moments today. I was right there with Khushi in allowing herself to share an imaginary spell of togetherness...Something so pure and innocent about it.

Golden Silence: I got goosebumps watching that first scene again...It seems like I can never get enough of it...But it was different in its affect this time around: it tugged past the heart, and hit the soul. Khushi's tears, smiles, and relief on her face juxtaposed with his grief, pain, that look of anger, coupled with defeat in the end. A man tried and tested, yet, even in that moment a glimmer of hope because of what he had expressed to her. He says the words and waits in anticipation--if only for a moment. His lips trembling, a fleeting smile, mind in disbelief at what he has just shared with her. He can sense it: that sweet release from her; she finally breathes...Yet the pain he feels for her--really for them-- is ever present. His face reminiscent of the times he hurt her. He cuts the call, and defiantly turns off the phone...those eyes close...he is resigned... I agree with you, yaar--As much as I wanted to hear Khushi say something, her silence said it all. Words would have failed to convey what she did feel, but he still heard her loud and clear!

Sundari and her Rajkumar: She finally realizes he is no longer on the line...She steps away from everyone...She can only think about those three words...In her trance like state, she remembers the flashback to those very scenes where she questioned "Aapko kya farq padta hai"? Today she got her answer. His I love you resonates everywhere...She is lost...Bhaavra Maan....Her wind chimes--ever welcoming her to come to him...Hawaaon se aapki baatein kartein hain; she hears them loud & clear..She is dressed in red, his favorite color, I loved your description of lighting the candles here, Priya...The light comes in where darkness has been...The song choice a perfect rendering of all that her heart is going through...Her finger to his lip sets everything in motion; Sundari and her Rajkumar...no longer the Shaitaan ...That complete strand of pearls sits right by the glass doors...the very doors that once separated her from him...She waits for him...He lovingly adorns her with it...In her mind, their journey complete...We've talked a lot about pearls last week, but today, it really was about Arnav--the Ocean-- from which the pearl is created...That pearl, with the hard nacre and the soft mollusk inside it...very much like the man she loves...A hint of shyness, she flees, only to come back into his arms again. The message in the bottle...again, a sign from her Ocean...A lover's missive...

S.O.S: Soft shadows bring her back to the present...Calls to the airline and Aman...her worst fears realized...Finally, the I love you now a distress signal for her...She remembers his wrath and his words...where does the I love you fit into all this?Takes matters into her own hands and informs the police...As I said yesterday, the I love you is the trigger for the search, but her desperation will only grow as she continues to piece together every "clue" she has! We now know she will leave no stone unturned to find him. But who will give her answers, and what will she do with them? Her test starts now!

Other thoughts: Of course, when I saw that pearl necklace in that pouch, I immediately thought of our Mikimoto's South Seas Collection convo, too!😆 But alas, this was not Arnav's moment!😆 So want an "Arnav version", too. The only thing I can predict is that necklace won't stay on her for long!😳 And you can bet your bottom dollar, that there is no way he would ever light those candles...HP kis kaam ka hai?🤣I am also wondering if we will see the mannat ki chabbi and the payal make an appearance again soon...more clues for us...

Aakash ke tevaar din bhaar din badte jah rahein hain...Marriage has done him a world of good...The Raizada side of his gene pool is here to stay--watchout!!!! I have to ask Archu how far she's fallen for her "gelled" buoy today!🤣 Payal better take some tips from Khushi...Otherwise, her "mommy" wala attitude is going to backfire...Poor Naani, forever caught between her grandsons--bhudaape mein referee bano!😆 I was very thankful for just a momentary Snake twitch today...ugghh, his repulsion knows no bounds (sorry, Shweta😆)...

Sobti does look super skinny, yaar! I just couldn't watch ASR as a victim today...but even then the "fire" remained in his eyes...Fabulously done by our man! Sanaya seemed to really enjoy the romantic Khushi...after all the rona-dhona, a welcome respite, I am sure...😃

I absolutely LOVE Zoha's VM...It is beautiful and poignant, and just takes us through the magic, yet again! Please tell her I miss her on the forum, and do pass along my best regards to her!😊

Amazing crooner Priya...I couldnt not take my eyes off the first pic..aah ASR and Khushi in the same frame looking at each other 😳😳

Khushi's reaction to ASR's ILU was fantastic. Her smile spoke a thousand words. All the FBs she had indicated that he has loved her since a long long time...things have slowly started to fall in place for our dear little sanka devi. She walks into her room...their personal space where they have fought, cried and driven each other up the wall but today she sees the man she has always loved...ASR does crazy stuff in her dreams. He wont run behind her like that in reality 😆😆. As soon as her dream ends she is very sure that her husband is in danger...she knows him very well by now..something has happened for this drastic change to happen. She gets down to business.

Arnav reaching out to the phone was heart wrenching 🥺🥺. A note to the kidnappers: pls release the lion soon because when he decides to roar, even your boss will not be able to save you 😡😡

@GS, you feel Crime master gogo has kidnapped ASR 🤣🤣. Khaandani chor jo sabke aankhen nikaalke goti khelta hai 🤣🤣

haven't read everything yet, but two thoughts came to mind regarding the episode. will write down first, before they go away.

"i am a woman in love"

he said "woh baat" in a way only he could say. after that i was left looking at her.

when i first met her she was a girl. last night i saw her transform into a woman.

what's more, a woman in love.

we followed her single tear with joy in our hearts, she cradled the phone close and she smiled. and there was a different khushi.

not the one who had rushed in with her "aanchal" held out to collect the shower of stars that she believed would fall when one is in love, as per chat with devi maiyya.

nor the young woman who jangled the bangles he'd given her (the only thing he has ever given her till date) as she stood smiling to herself and said: if anyone had said to me laad governor would give me bangles and be so concerned about my welfare, i'd have never have believed them.

from that smile on, right through the walk down the corridor, remembering the incomplete "farak padta hai" moments to his submission: i love you, up to her room, i watched khushi grow into a woman.

she walked into her dream, assured and lovely in his favourite colour. tremulous smile (who says mills & boon doesn't teach you anything), but confident reach out of hand.

she looked into his eyes, unafraid. his expression changed. was he about to explain? without any hesitation she silenced him with a finger on his lips. khushi doesn't need explanations. she knows what matters. hmmm nice.

i have to say i loved khushi's version of the perfect romantic interlude. khushi, the girl, chose the physicals. the awful earrings (that cuts deep as i am a earring fiend), the tacky bag in which the precious string rested, the funny candles, the run around the pool. aw i loved that strange chase by our man. 😉😆 😊 if i can see him tied up and bleeding, i can see him dopily running after her, perhaps asr really feels like running around trees sometimes, let the boy have some fun!

but the emotions of the entire sequence was pure Khushi the woman. i loved the way she turned away from him and ran, a definite invitation to follow her there. if we found the seen corny, bet so did barun and sanaya. i looked at their expressions a zillion times to detect a false note. not one. they had a beautiful chat instead, just through looks and smiles. oh, that lovely lyrical hug, the hand moving up her hair, the remorse entering his eyes, then his intent gaze as that funny bottle and note appeared; but what really mattered were those three words. and their effect.

aside:

some beautiful intercutting between her smile holding the phone and his tortured face as he disconnected.

arnav and his happiness.

inspired by crooner's ponder upon pearls and the repeated reference to this gem of the seas by the writers.

arnav means the ocean. this arnav is an ocean held back. hardened by life. a protective shell around him.

khushi means happiness. and she is free flowing, generous, all that her name means.

between them scatter so many images of pearls. strings snap and they fall like teardrops everywhere. unbroken strings appear in dreams and bring smiles. pearls are found in pockets, in nightmares.

when the diver plunges to the bottom of the sea, will she find the pearl in the depths of the ocean? will happiness reach find the ocean's perfect heart and bring it to the surface?

pearls symbolise unblemished perfection.

a few references to pearls i found here and there: they are the oldest known gems and for centuries, the most valuable. the latin word for pearl means unique. pearls can be symbol of tears as well. to the ancients, pearls signified the moon and was said to have magical powers.

if i find some more, shall add later.

oh these pearls intrigue me.

sorry to butt in with an unrelated post but wanted to share this...yesterday took my son to watch chota bheem movie..that show has a boy named kaalia who is fat &is supposed to be a bully...his BG music of a crow cawwing is similar to that of manorama mami's!!

I agree.it was supposed to b khushi's version of romancing with the one who just confessed his love to her.
