The redux started by Tants and Doods is an amalgamation of ideas. While they had so many reasons for disliking yesterday episode and hibernated, even an analytical person like me finds just one reason to like it. Probably, that one reason is what makes us communicate.
In tryst with destiny:
I was really struggling to what to write about this episode. Is it an interaction of emotion and rationality or is it a newfound rapport of brain and heart or solace between love and aversion. What so ever be the logic I think it is nothing but a tryst with destiny.
Khushi and Arnav are having their respective tryst with destiny.
In tryst with destiny - Arnav Singh Raizada :
Arnav Singh Raizada though flaunts about his "dimaag" but he is an emotional fool. He is paranoid at the very though of death of his beloved ones, that is the main reason he acts more as a protector. Protection comes in two forms - physical and financial. He became ruthless for giving the financial stability to his sister and rose physically to give Khushi protection. He always found khushi to be accident-prone and that is what makes him her saviour.
The man who never stepped out of his Kremlin is in the mercy of abductors threatening his very existence. That little moments he got to speak to his family members was a gained opportunity to him. While he maintained himself in his default mode but with Khushi, he lost out. Why did he utter those three words?
As we travel the road along with him:
- With so much aversion for Khushi he risked his life and protected her during the car park accident (the emotional side of his charges up)
- On the road when he presumed that she met with the accident, he was running after the ambulance His car was near he could have taken the car and followed the ambulance ' why he ran. It is just his emotional side. He returned to his senses only he heard Khushi's voice having an argument with the "channa" man. He took few seconds lying on the steering wheel and then returned to ASR to confront her.
- Recently, when he saved her from the suicide attempt he said the truth to her about her illegitimate affair with Shyam only due to charged with emotion. No other way he would have uttered the truth.
Therefore, concluding that answers come from ASR when he is emotionally charged and in duress, he is not in a position to predict whether he can wither the storm. In the game of chess ' there is a position where we can play neither defense nor attack ' the positions entangled that there is no way forward. That position called "Stalemate". Here the players succumb to draw the match.
Today, Arnav did not call for divine help ' he gave in to both facets of his persona. His words came as a code from his logical brain and unadulterated love from his emotional brain.
He did not call for any divine help, the surviving instincts in him tried to make a contact with the outer world, finally as a Hypoglycemia patient he had to recede to the human anatomy call.
Today, in this gambit, the protector savaged and the Kremlin walls were falling from its glory. This is his tryst with destiny.
In tryst with destiny - Khushi Kumari Gupta :
She wanted to name the unusual relationship shared by them, situations created and circumstances erected. With torment and turmoil, by cares and anxieties, in pain and turbulence she met with defeat to get those magic three words. In the virtual world, she became his wife but victory eluded her, as the warlord did not give her the stature.
Today, in her extraordinary circumstances governed to be the first lady of the home, amidst the crowd of her people, from the loneliness of her heart she heard those words. Is the moment ecstatic, surreal, fictitious or factual? Overwhelmed with emotions she craved for chamber of seclusion to digest, savor and linger the defining moments of her life.
Reminiscence came in for justifying his words and the ballerina was lost in the Ballard of her thoughts. Alas, the message in the bottle regained her senses, the sixth sense ' that distinguishes beyond the frontiers of emotions and rationality. A man who blemished her character, who made her wait for hours, who did not bother to tell her he is leaving the country, who never gave her a chance to prove her innocence cannot descend so easily from the mount of suspicion. There has been a strong reason for those words ' something he tells her in the abnormal circumstances. She decoded it successful. This is her tryst with destiny ' she emancipated her heart words in pursuit for the words of her brain.
Places that captured me:
Arnav Singh Raizada: the resilience he showed while facing death and his struggle to get hold of the telephone is the hallmark. Is it the strength of the character or the histrionics of the actor I am unsure but they complimented each other.
Khushi Kumari Gupta: In the police station when she was filing her FIR (First Information Report), the answer she gave to the inspector the reason for her suspicion that her husband is absent. Well "he said that he loved me". That's it.
Before leaving, how I can go without a lovely song. It is from the film Haqeeqat 1961, Music by none other than genius Madan Mohan Ji ,lyrics by Kaifi Aazmi Ji and renditions by the nightingale lata Ji. Enjoy
Zara Si Aahat Hoti Hai To Dil Sochta Hai
kahin Yeh Woh To Nahin (3)
chhup Ke Seene Mein, Aaa
chhup Ke Seene Mein Koi Jaise Sadaa Deta Hai
shaam Se Pehle Diya Dil Ka Jalaa Deta Hai
hai Usi Ki Yeh Sadaa, Hai Usi Ki Yeh Adaa
kahin Yeh Woh To Nahin (3)
shakl Phirti Hai, Haa Aa
shakl Phirti Hai Nigahon Mein Wohi Pyaari Si
meri Nas Nas Mein Machalne Lagi Chingari Si
chhoo Gayi Jism Mera, Kiske Daaman Ki Hawa
kahin Yeh Woh To Nahin (3)
zara Si Aahat Hoti Hai To Dil Sochta Hai
kahin Yeh Woh To Nahin (3)
